September 3, 201015 yr I don't really need a wingview, not with FSRecorder installed. You can very easily make new viewpoints and that way make your own wingviews. Plus, you have the added bonus of polygons not being wasted on a wing, but instead being used to make a pretty VC!THRALNI: By any chance do you use FSRecorder on multiple monitors? I have never been able to get it (or any other "Active Cmarea" type software) to work completely as advertised with my 4 monitor setup . . .?? :( Smooth Skies! -- Chuck B. September 4, 201015 yr Read this again and try and understand what it means. "And listen to engines deafening roar in the spot view!"Plus with a wing view one can create a cabin window view over the wing (cockpit view) .....and if one is really clever one could animate it..... all stuff that will never happen in FSX of course. :(Regarding wingviews etcSorry if this is slightly off topic but going back to what Ed said about the deafening noise you get. What I used to do when making videos was to make another view but normally an interior view so you get the interior noise and then resize it until it is as small as possible and move it to a corner of the screen. Then when you click on it you get the interior sound but with the exterior wing view full screen. You could then record what you wanted and then just crop out the small box if you wanted to in the final edit so to speak. You can do that for FSX or I sometimes did it with Walk and Follow for FS2004 as well.

IMHO :Nerd:edit* I also like to make my rear_left and rear_right (if no engineers panel) view my left/right passenger views thereby easily and quickly selecting the views with the CH yoke hatswitch (you don't want to miss the passing AI!) September 4, 201015 yr So what's with the goofy-looking fonts on the FMS in this add-on??It looks like they chose a fixed sized font to line up the columns and rows easier. So the fix for that may not be as simple as just changing fonts.Reghards.Ernie.
September 4, 201015 yr You know whats funny is that some people say they get CTDs and make fun of the EXTREMELY small things yet i heard the IFLY beats the crap out of PMDG's 737. Especially with the fact it was made in 3 years and almost EVERY system has been modeled. The aircraft was released 1 WEEK ago and i have had ZERO CTD's. The support they give you is remarkable and extremely helpful. The aircraft was modeled perfectly and ALL bugs are being fixed as of this moment. The support NEVER blames you for a bug or a CTD and immediately tests it them selves. IFly team is like and Idol in the Addon community. I am actually on my approach as i type this.Take my word for it:PURCHASE THE IFLY 737!! I love it and i HIGHLY suggest the product. The IFLY team is actually ADDING user suggested features. The community is VERY involved in it.CHEERS! I have gone back to FS9 and bot the Ifly a week ago. BEST PURCHASE EVER!Oh, and by the way, there ARE wing views! i use FS Recorder. but in the SP1 they are making right now they are gonna have integrated wing views.
September 4, 201015 yr Ya, but those wingviews are not attached into the vc of the plane like traditional wingviews. FSrecorder is just a camera type program that will let u get really close to the plane which allows you to achieve wingviews on non wingview planes.

Like a game console that you pay hundreds for. Those consoles break, need updates, and are always have features that are being made. Same with the IFLY. It has its bugs, but are being fixed. They are also adding a ton of features requested by the users.
September 6, 201015 yr Does anyone have an estimate of how soon the FSX version of this will be released??

November 1, 201015 yr Hello What about IFLYs ND display? In map mode It looks cheap! straight lines from waypoint to waypoint, no curves like in the PMDG, comeon it's not an Airbus! Compared to PMDG the PFD, ND & EFIS are not good looking they just look cheap! Other things I don't like are no removable VC, takes alot FPS, the autopilot is a joke, autolandings are not near as good as in PMDG!For you guys that want to by it, do it & try it out, keep it or make a refund like I did:-)) For me at least, the PMDG 737 is still my choice;))) Kind regardsR.G

November 2, 201015 yr Pretty strong FIRST POST against the IFLY there Rodd.Makes me wonder.............
