Hello What about IFLYs ND display? In map mode It looks cheap! straight lines from waypoint to waypoint, no curves like in the PMDG, comeon it's not an Airbus! Compared to PMDG the PFD, ND & EFIS are not good looking they just look cheap! Other things I don't like are no removable VC, takes alot FPS, the autopilot is a joke, autolandings are not near as good as in PMDG!For you guys that want to by it, do it & try it out, keep it or make a refund like I did:-)) For me at least, the PMDG 737 is still my choice;)))

I have the the ifly 737 and found it ok. i still prefer the PMDG only because I found the ifly quite buggy with a few issues. But I believe they have a couple of patches which fix a lot of the issues? Does anyone have these all installed and can give a review as to the improvements they make?Jonno.

HelloIt is much better with the interim patches and hopefully the SP1 will arrive soon. Why not just install the patches and see if it improves it for you ?.

LOL! I don't like to use that, but i have to. :(

My Specification: I CAN RUN FSX IN MAX SETTINGS....i don't care about dell, bell, amd, intel, 60000 wats power supply or alien made graphic card....

HiI did install interim patch 1 & 2, after I installed nr 2 I got alot CTD's & other strange stuff that I have never seen my computer preform. If you want an airplane in the same category as Willco then iFLY is OK.....but they are not close to the best ones DA-F100, Level-D, F1-ATR or PMDG....just my 5 cents:)) regards/Rodd

Kind regards
R.G

Thanks for the reply. I guess the pmdg will still be my 737 of choice.jonno.

I have hopes patch 2 will remedy my humongous AP problems but I can't really tell. After I installed the patch I can't even start FS9 anymore. Time to bring out my backup image of the partition I guess...

Guys,if you ask for assistance here , at the dedicated support forum, you stand a much greater chance of resolving your issues :( Interim patch(es) solved the CTD's, maybe there is something else that's causing problems for you. Same goes for the autopilot. I am not aware of any major issues with it.Regards,Jure

Jure, actually I'm not really asking for assistance and I do have posted in the i737 forum! :D Thing is, while some of my problems have been shared by other users - the unpatched i737 certainly had loads of bugs - others I haven't seen reported by others. That is of course a hint that my problems are related to my specific setup/system. While I was set on re-installing my computer before installing the patch 2, I figured I could give it a shot and see if something improves. Now that I can't even start FS9 I'm definitely going to re-install everything. :D Anyway, it's not a huuge issue since I just re-istall an image of the partition and a fresh Windows 7 system with a basic FS9 install is up and running in an hour! Then remains just installing some 100 sceneries and 30-40 planes..As for the i737, I can certainly see beyond my issues and recognize that is has a wonderful VC, high level of sophistication and a development team behind that seems to be almost as dedicated as Steve Masson - which says a lot! :D I have high hopes for the i737 although it was unusable on my system.

Or the Maddog Leonardo! I think it's absolutely the best...

Good luck, Krister. It is true, that some user setups can be problematic, but being unable to even start FS9 is quite strange. Since you've been to the iFly forums, you have probably read about installation with A-virus disabled and such things. Or deleting FS9.cfg.... checking the FSUIPC version.... Strange indeed.Regards,Jure
