I wouldn't be surprised, I have fell victim sometimes to not wanting to fly the darn thing and just want to enjoy the flight aspect hahaha. It was easy to find which picture was real and from FSX. Just look at the dust specks you can see on the glass in the top one. Otherwise, amazing amazing as usual. Can't wait for more updates. I will probably be using up all my vacation time starting the second the liveries are available to download before the release.

A sound driver request - can you make the PMDG sounds on the NGX use the chosen primary sound device as selected within FSX instead of the chosen default sound device in the OS? I ask because sometimes I want to set the OS default sound device to my USB headset (this backward method solves other add-on issues); and then force the FSX primary sound device to my speakers. But, when I do this in previous PMDG aircraft, the PMDG flightdeck sounds still appear the headset - as if the FSX primary sound device setting has no bearing on PMDG sounds. Thanks for considering...

Regarding this never ending 2D vs VC debate..... it is getting tiresome.To clarify, the VC is in fact 3D. to say otherwise is to ignore the last 15 years of game development. Stop splitting hairs. It's 3D. Period.Finally, PMDG has already stated on numerous occasions that there will in fact be 2D panels, so everyone who is chiming in can now sit down and relax and stop throwing unwarrented panic posts into this forum.Thank you. Thanks Vin, as i find this more accurate for configuring these sophisticated aircraft for flight, also find this mode more 'realistic' as it is precise. The MD11 2D panels are intuative and innovative (left & right click) they are excellent.

Dear admins, can there be a separate LOCKED thread with PMDG's updates (RSR, Tom etc) and keep this one just for the rest of us who want to do any comment, suggestion, joke? It's really hopeless to look for updates or any kind of new info as even if I check daily there are dozens of new posts, which from my point of view are useless.Please don't get me wrong, I do not say that people say useless things, but for me (or anyone else maybe) who look just for updates regarding the upcoming release, it's really hard to follow all these pages...Thanks.

I have to ponder Robert, how on earth you are able to:1. be an airline captain2. be a company leader3. be a reno racer4. design these pmdg gems5. address 'the nation' over here all in the 24h days we all seam to live in.I am an airline pilot and find it difficult to combine a secondary hobby with that alone, let alone 4 other occupations, perhaps the days over that side of the pond are simply different? :)how do you do it?? :)On another note: nice going! I was a NG customer from the beginning on and always loved the ever increasing level of immersion, realism and loyalty you guys at pmdg show. Robert's smart......he uses "speed".(Anyone who remembers the original Saturday Night Live....that was a fake commercial they ran, circa 1975. The housewife lists all of the things she does in a typical day, and the voiceover says "How does Jane do it??.....she's smart....she uses "speed".) Disclaimer.....I am not advocating the use of speed, or any other drug. Nor am I suggesting Robert uses any ilegal drugs, although after reading these posts he is probably tempted to do so.

All we have to do now is add disclaimers. :( Seems to be the big thing now in posting. I am unsure how Robert does it either though. I work 40 hours a week at my regular job, and between that/family I wonder how I find time to do the stuff I do at Milviz. Wouldn't have it any other way though. I am sure RSR enjoys his "hobby" too and that is what keep him going. Sometimes I wonder no matter how bad a post seems he always responds with kindness.
