Once released, you will need to buy this as an all new aircraft.Eric Szczesniak Eric Szczesniak
October 29, 201015 yr Commercial Member Then something else popped up in my mind. For the elevator trim I would like to use an axis instead of buttons. That works far more accurate. But, in the 747 it doesn't work since it messes up the autopilot. Is it possible to implement some "autopilot trim-axis override" function? And the second question, if you implement this, can you make something to show where the trim-axis is, so that you can line it up with the current ac/ap setting, before disengagement of the autopilot?Dion MollertIt's not an axis in the real airplane... it's buttons on the yoke. What I can ask about is maybe finding some way to give the trim a finer degree of motion, so one press on the button isn't as big a movement as it normally is. October 30, 201015 yr 2010 krisWe can only hope, as this has not been confirmed by PMDG. Personally, after reading their recent posts, I get the impression it will be 2011. Curt Branch
October 30, 201015 yr Talking about axis, I was tinking about buying the Aerosoft Airbus X just to pass time until the NGX dont show, but I read that to make the throttles to work you MUST have a throttle joystick and a paid FSUIPC. My question is, do you guys will have some restriction like this regarding the NGX? Like must have a joystick or throttle quadrant or a First Aid Kit and a bunch of manuals to fly this beauty.Thx you guys and yes one more timee: FANTASTIC job!Bruno.

October 30, 201015 yr To be honest, I believe there will be one more preview post by Capt. Randazzo on the forums prior to some sort of indication of when the aircraft will enter BETA, the manuals will be released or the ETA itself. Think about it, the descriptions for each preview post go "First in a series, Second in a series, Third in a series". Now, we all know there's 4 different 737 aircraft that make up the NG series. My guess is he's been showing us each of the series from the -600 and this third post featured the -800.Only my guess, thoughts? Erik L.

Unless they were showcasing features specific to each different model, which they haven't.Scott Johnston
October 30, 201015 yr Commercial Member We have seen the VC,all we need is to see the exterior, one would hope that the next update is the last, and release follows shortly after, remember ryan is making some videos for us, and we gotta see the HUD!2010 is what pmdg have stated, we have all been waiting [in some cases] a couple of years,, and the first major post about this, was in january. Remember, a year is a very very long time to wait for something, and check most days on the forums for something.. some of us have checked this forum at least once a day..Very hard indeed to keep patience, but it is a good test guys, keep the faith! :( Alex Ridge Join Fswakevortex here!
