October 27, 201015 yr Haha, very nice. I had an application pending with the US Secret Service from 1994-1996. I had just gotten out of the service and thought that's what I wanted to do. After all, most people could use what they learned and did in the military after service but in my case the options were minimal unless I wanted to go back to Saudi as a minefield clearer or Merc. I had a friend at the Boston SS office and he asked me once "Do you remember how once you got in the military that your expectations were shattered after watching and thinking it was going to be like all those war flicks? Well, how does 30 hours of straight surveillance of a trash dumpster sound to you?" haha. I eventually started my first plumbing business and let go of my hopes for SS, but major kudos to you wife! :) i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier

October 27, 201015 yr As each european country has it's own system there's no single source of information. But you can start here: http://charts.vatsim.net/ :)Each system operates under JAA regulations as part of EASA, so there actually is a resource we can use. October 27, 201015 yr You would think that having a sniper in the family would help with your election process,,, at least with maybe eliminating some of the competition :) i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier
October 27, 201015 yr Author Commercial Member Dan-Yeah- we know a number of agents- and the entry level stuff, like most jobs, just ain't glamorous. Once you get beyond the entry level stuff- the job is pretty compelling because it has a "purpose." The agents we know who have retired all miss it. Seems like the same sickness that pilots get. You start out with crap- grow to love what you are doing- then get tired of the travel- retire- then start to miss the job. Dr.Mrs.R. was never an agent. She interned with them while working on her PhD(s - multiple!) so she was hired into HQ immediately. She'd been there a decade (i think?) and was the Chief Research Psychologist when i met her. (It's been all downhill since! wahahahahahahah) She helped run the national safe school study after Columbine and she is now recognized as being the national expert on the prevention of targeted violence in schools. She travels all over the world now training educators and school systems on how to prevent violence. She's won a bunch of national and international awards for her work, has written two books, is on a committee formed by Virginia Tech to help other universities learn from their tragedy, and is frequently featured as a guest expert on all the various alphabet soup TV stations...Then there's me. I uh... Can fly a plane....I just look at the bright side: I'm married to a psychologist- so the treatment is perpetual and free. :( Robert S.
