July 27, 201114 yr In the introduction chapter for the NGX, Ryan wrote a wonderful piece that explains how to optimally set up FSX for best performance.Anyone able to help with a link to Ryan's recommendations? Having a hard time finding it.
July 27, 201114 yr Another Boeing, eh? After 5 years....Next 5 years another Boeing 777, And in the next 15 years a Boeing 727 lol .....By the time someone at PMDG decide to develop an Airbus, we'll all be dead...hahahaha :( Oh well...Let's see what this new boeingy has to offerrrrrrr.Johnny
July 27, 201114 yr Commercial Member incredible work guys! No other add-on will ever be this advanced. :blink:I know that many are saying that the price seems cheap/reasonable, but I have to disagree. I don't have $70 to spend on an add-on when ever I please. I understand that this is one of the greatest/most advanced airliners ever made for Flight Simulator and it took a huge amount of work and time to put together, but I simply can't afford that no matter how bad I want this plane. :( Brandon Filer

July 27, 201114 yr I am a bit concerned about the pricing. If I purchase the NGX base package plus the 6/700 package, it will cost me nearly $100. That's almost twice what I paid for the 747-400X. Is this pricing final, or can it be reduced prior to release? Matthew Bellette

Is this pricing final, or can it be reduced prior to release? The NGX is a new aircraft from the ground up. The 747X was more or less a port to FSX with a few tweaks. Additionally, IIRC, the MD11 was around the same price that the NGX is now.

July 27, 201114 yr Just curious if the MIL version is going to be a model upgrade. I had a chance to talk with one of the P-8 team members resposible for the military simulators. I was informed there is a lot more happening in that aircraft than meets the eye. Just wondering what kind of add on this would be. Walter Trester
July 27, 201114 yr I'm sure its worth the money, its just more than I hoped/expected.Unfortunately that's the way the world is - the customers scream for ultra realism, every conceivable function to be modelled correct to the nth degree, reflections, correct number of rivets etc. etc. It costs money. I would guess that this will become as close to a commercial level device that can be done is FS, and these things aren't cheap. David Porrett
July 28, 201114 yr You get what you pay for, this should be a $200 airplane for the realism it provides, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't used in type rating training. Michael pare. Michael Pare Extreme Boeing 737NG fanatic
July 28, 201114 yr I'm sure its worth the money, its just more than I hoped/expected.Maby take 6gb of your 12gb of ram down to a pawn shop for some extra cash. Seriously though its taken the team along time to make this bird, people have to be paid and the boss also has to make a profit, in such a small market to begin with I'm surprised its so cheap, aa few years from now while your still flying it will that hundred dollars even matter.
