July 28, 201114 yr I am a bit concerned about the pricing. If I purchase the NGX base package plus the 6/700 package, it will cost me nearly $100. That's almost twice what I paid for the 747-400X. Is this pricing final, or can it be reduced prior to release?I agree, $100 is still a good chunk of money. EU guys seem to be happy with the pricing and I am happy for them, I wish I could say the same for their gas prices though. :( :( :( Without further speculation I want to focus on $75 (initially $70) base package. PMDG still has not come up with a list of features. Obviously they are not keen to list what is not included, however if I were asked to pay xxx dollars for something I would like to know what am I getting for my $$. I suspect the 6700 upgrade is not going to be model/flight dynamics addition only. The original 800/900 upgrade was way more than that and most people upgraded just to get the new features. So I would like to know what features will be paid upgrades as well. Bozhan
July 28, 201114 yr I'm sure its worth the money, its just more than I hoped/expected.They're are other 737s availble out there priced from free downloads to $55. My friend, you have your pick of the pack.If I didn't have the money for this one now, I would sure be doing some saving or cutting some grass or whatever it took. But this NGX is the one I would get.The NGX is remarkably cheap for all that it is. I am thrilled and amazed with the low price. If I had got on this forum a few days ago and suggested that they sell this NGX for under $70, I would have been laughed off of the forum (which it wouldn't have been the first time ).After reading all of the features and seeing all of the AoA videos, what price would have you been happy with? July 28, 201114 yr Just wondering what kind of add on this would be.It is not hard to figure this out (provided they in fact do it).All the performance numbers will no doubt be included. This also goes for some exterior details likes wings, etc.Whether they do the P-8's cabin interior - hard to guess, but only if the stuff is not classfied. But one thing is certain - no military warfare equipment will be simulated. July 28, 201114 yr PMDG, I wanted to indicate my support for the amazing product and the very reasonable pricing. You guys have done an amazing job, and truly stand in a league of your own - my FSX experience is about to be revolutionized. I hope you realize an equitable profit for the all the work you have done. Long live PMDG! Sam Kharey

July 28, 201114 yr Anyone able to help with a link to Ryan's recommendations? Having a hard time finding it. I was wondering whether Robert meant the introduction of the soon-to-be-released manual for the NGX. Could be wrong. Cheers, Bruce Campion-Smith

July 28, 201114 yr Thanks, saw that one, I was under the impression there may have been FSX.cfg setting recommendations. Hi Jeremy, Yes, if you look a little ways down, you will see a link to *******' FSX Configuration tool, which is FANTASTIC for helping you to set all of your FSX Configuration settings. July 28, 201114 yr Wow. This truly was a labour of love for the PMDG crew because at this price, I don't think anyone will be getting rich. Very fair price considering the hours logged building it and the fact that the base package comes with electronic versions of the Boeing manuals along with PMDG's own guide to flying the 737. Hats off to Robert and everyone for making an effort to keep the NGX accessible to most folks price-wise. Considering the hours I expect to log flying this it in the coming months, my hourly rate will be peanuts. Cheers, Bruce Campion-Smith

July 28, 201114 yr I was just looking at some paper work from the training i had done back a few years ago the cost was part finance and some i had to pay . the sim was a 737-400 and the figure was well over 37k $ and now for about 70$ we are getting so much info that i cant say anything to express how happy im with the price of this AC . I know you cant compare a real sim to our desk but i just want to show those that ever wonder how much the cost of using a real 737 sim can cost . the 37K was not the total cost is just the amount that went out of my wallet . so once again thanks PMDG for a product like this .... No kidding, I'll be logging several 1000 hours on it based on how much I flew the old NG for FS9 before I retired it. Well said! Although I still think PMDG will be making good cash off this one.
