I'm going to hold off for the FSX version even though I haven't even installed FSX yet. :-p If it handles anything like their X it will be a dream to fly! I'll just have a hard time going so slow! Anyhay, I too would like opinions instead of childish arguments. ;)

Guys this is going to be another one of the southbound eaglesoft threads. We've had more of those than we need..........
That is 100% true. [alert]OK - if everybody doesn't hold it together and if there's anymore crap flinging (from anyone, including Commercial Members!) this thread will be locked, and any other thread where the same is happening will also be locked and removed. The AVSIM forums are discussion forums. Feel free to discuss the product - not abuse each other.[/alert]

Hmm, it appears that our FS9 CJ1+ customers do not frequent Avsim forums....Nerd.gif

Thanks Scott!Yes we are phazing out FS9 production in a slower manner than others but here's hoping that over time FS9 remains viable even if a somewhat limited platform, in terms of customer support for such.We had better watch it before this turns into another FS9 VS FSX debacle.Big%20Grin.gif

Well - I bought it and I like it. It is a big improvement over the older version, particularly the avionics, with functional Universal FMC, Collins PFD and MFD. New payware aircraft for FS9 are very rare nowadays, so I am glad to support Eaglesoft for supporting FS9. I am not qualified to comment on its accuracy as I am not a RL pilot, but it is a very nice aircraft to fly, with great feel and excellent frame rates.

True, guys. You have inspired me. To be honest I haven't really been interested in small bizjets so far, but now... why not?Would be a nice idea to fly wherever I want and visit some smaller regional or exotic airports I would rather not jump to with my heavies. If you know of any nice detailed screenshots (other than those few small ones at the product site) or videos, especially with the VC, please let me know.I usually need to give a product some good thinking before I buy. I like money well spent. Thank you for supporting FS9 simmers, Eaglesoft!

Our thanks Rafal. It's sometimes nice to to simulate a shortish business trip into a smaller out of the way field. We will likely have a series of instructional videos on proper operation but no "promo" type videos are planned.Nerd.gif

On the basis of my enjoyment of the Citation X I will most likely be a purchaser in the next couple of weeks. Eaglesoft makes excellent, stable and deep simulations, and I've been very pleased with them in the past.

Bought and flew her for like 10 mins. My initial impression is very positive. No show stoppers. Will fly more and report back.

After a 300NM+ test flight I couldn't come up with any bug report or real complaint. The plane flew beautifully. I tested all systems in normal operations and all worked well, navigation using the universal FMS and autopilot all the way to 500 above. The plane flew the entire approach including a procedure turn very well. The Proline 21 and universal FMS simulation is very thorough. I made a few comments on minor things in the ES forum in case there is room for improvement but over all it is really well done IMO, beyond my personal expectations.
