What would happen if you took your 737ngx - installed it on a friends rig and found it worked fantastically.Would you still say it was the worst add-on you have bought, or would you take a closer look at your own set up?

Guys, I thought that the USA was the home of free speech! When people make any purchase and it is not working for them the way it is supposed to,customers have every right to be upset.The psoters who have taken exception to the post need to take a step back and instead of resorting to name calling,instead just accept that for a number of people the NGX is not yet working . This forum is starting to produce reactions which will deter people from posting as time after time it seems that if anyone posts the slightest hint of negativity towards the guys at PMDG the poster gets bad mouthed. I suspect that all at PMDG will admit that the launch of the NGX id not go off without problems .Despite a tentative timescale for SP1 no definite information is forthcoming which suggets to me that some more work needs doing. Come on guys lets try and conduct yourseves in a manner befitting supporters of this great addon. Norman

Agreed. And out comes the PMDG defense force when someone doesn't have a pleasant experience... oh my gosh! It wasn't a flame post at all... I was very frusterated with my freezes and CTD's - (haven't had any in a while though). OP, let us help you... someone already asked for your system specs etc... we'll start there.

As in the UK, constitutional free speech protection prohibits the government from restraining free speech. Even so, free speech isn't a license to speak without thinking. Nobody is suggesting that the OP should stop posting. We are simply suggesting that he drop the idiotic baseless claims and resort to meaningful dialogue with the community that has already expressed a desire to support its users.Trevor

PMDG have produced the most sophisticated flight simulation model that can work on a home computer. I'm sorry the OP can't make it work on his own computer but it clearly works for the majority of people so there is no need to throw yourself on the ground and beat it with your fists.

As a citizen of a country that somehow put constrains on freedom of speech, I have to state here clearly that, I purchased the NGX 6th of August and for almost three weeks+ I did tens of flights using DVA ACARS at most of them under various conditions, at busiest airports of the world, mostly 100% success, all systems works beautifully, I use REX2, FSUIPC, various land classes & scenaries, very old system, etc, I had couple of CTD and freezing like three times, I think flight simulator will never be the same to any hard core simmer, the plane feels 100% different and far better than even the mighty PMDG MD-11, I always thought was the best simulator ever produced, I enjoy flying the NGX everyday, I learned a lot I enjoyed it a lot, It takes my breath away when I am driving home planning for next flight and a word of truth if PMDG will ever produce a toilet seat simulator I will be the first to buy, thank you PMDG I am out of words.I didn't mean for this to be contradicting with the original thread as I think PMDG don't need me defending them in any way, however, as a freedom of speech I had to let it go.

To be honest since I bought the NGX I haven't flown any other aircraft, just because PMDG have created this addon with precision and there is so much learning to be done with the NGX.

Being such the patriotic American that you are, surely you must know that the 1st Amendment only relates to government action on the restriction of speech? Meaning I cannot get thrown in jail for voicing an negative opinion of the White House or the US Congress. But I most surely can get fired if I voice a negative opinion of the private company I work for, since that would not be government action. But no need for me to point out this to you, since with all this talk of founding fathers, bill of rights, and the greatness of the Constitution that goes around the mainstream blabber here in the United States, one could only assume that this is common knowledge, just as the total number of members sit in the House or Represenatives, or what the Fair Faith and Credit Clause entails in the Constitution, or what "Impeachment" really means.

I have to say the 737NGX is the worst addon I've ever bought. I've had it for over 3 weeks now and attempted over 15 flights only once completing one without panel freezing and no response to keyboard/joystick etc. And yes I applied all 3 (non)fixes and have downloaded the file again which included the fixes. I've tried reducing the sliders in FSX to practically zero, ran ******* cfg tool and many other suggestions. We were promised and update etc TWO weeks ago and have heard nothing. If this is the way PMDG carry out service I'm surprised they haven't gone out of business years ago, its appalling. Never again will I buy products from PMDG. I've had the odd problem with other products but the producers soon fixed them. Rog

Works fine for me,.. either your system/fsx install sucks or you suck at setting up fsx
