Don't know where people are getting the idea that Flight is canned.We are still a good bit away from mid 2012.Would not be too worried about lack of screens/vids on offical site.Really looking forward to it as i have finished with fsx which i enjoyed over the past few years.IL2 Cliffs of Dover has being getting me through the past couple of months,has to be the most stunning piece of flight software i have used in the past 12 years.Anyway members on this forum should not be bashing each other as none of us know what the current state of Flight is.Just have patience,hopefully will we all be enjoying MS Flight this time next year.

The logical conclusion given Microsoft's track record (ie TrainSim2), the economy and lack of updates (for months) is that Flight has been cancelled.

Spock may be right. It does seem kinda strange how MS has gone all silent. Generally you want to hype things up as much as you can, like what the Battle Field 3 people are doing... or maybe even report that copy of 'Flight' has been stolen or lost in a bar (wait, that's Apple's marketing strategy...) I'm guessing, however, that Flight is on hold. Hope I'm wrong.

So, was it cancelled? ... just kidding I agree with Bryan, the fact there were no updates for some time now says something.. probably on hold for whatever reason. Don't you think if Flight was cancelled MS would tell us that?

But why would they release videos/screen shots on a regular monthly basis, and then just all of a sudden go silent? Name of the game is to generate as much pre-release hype as possible, starting early. Again, I really I hope I'm wrong. But FSX is a very mature sim and could still last a long time, especially now that the hardware is available to get the most of out of it.

Yes! Company execs are driven by short term profit motives, retaining key staff just doesn't figure into their 'bonus' equation. Flight sim was always a 'pet' product of Bill Gates, as soon as he left Microsoft things went downhill.
