September 24, 201213 yr Yes, did I mention that before? I refer to the attitude: "Mac is great, I pay double and ###### on anything else." This has been proven again by the jury in Apple vs Samsung trial.

September 24, 201213 yr Don't ruin a good conversation with this kind of crap. Seriously it's stupid. I agree. It is refreshing to see comments from both sides of the great divide, that are willing to agree to disagree without putting each other down. Still waiting for Hiflyer to talk me into crossing to the dark side - he has got one of my sales reps already  Sent from my GT-P7510 using Tapatalk 2 (damn another Sammy)

September 24, 201213 yr Really?! I think that the new maps app is fantastic! - Integration with Siri... etc I have a 4, so I don't have Siri. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
September 24, 201213 yr I could care less about "Maps" I don't use it and as for the youtube app, I'm also glad its gone. The one in the app store is much better. So all-in-all, this update is fine for me. Now I just, have to wait for my iPhone 5. September 25, 201213 yr Unique relationship! , all the time!, in my hand! What is this? This video is sad. ^^^ Dear Lord, whatever the brand or whatever it is. It’s a gadget, only a gadget, like any other gadget, nothing more. The saddest part of all this iWhatever vs AndroidWhatever issue is when people (especially young people) fall in love with a machine. How about going out, socializing and falling in love with life? Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
September 25, 201213 yr *Shrug. I had a conversation with my aunt about this yesterday and she started off with "These kids!" (Its easy to continue from there) and ended with "That's why the world is like it is today!!!" I asked her how this was different than any other stereotypical "Why can't they be like we were?" sort of argument probably going back to the dinosaurs. She thought it was completely different, so I then ran back some arguments her parents had probably used against her attraction to things unfamiliar to their own childhood experiences that she valued. Of course she got mad. Not the same!! And of course flight simming does not have such elements; like the people who fight endlessly about fsx vs whatever. Or the thread pointing out what a potentially lonely and expensive hobby it can be. What about all the boy and his car (with a name) love stories? People are just the same. Only their choice of toys differ. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. September 25, 201213 yr And repeatedly letting yourself get upset over such trivial matters makes your life better? Kind of strike back only, as I've been attacked several times. I bought a Xperia Mini X10 pro for only $100.- at ebay and it does all I need!

September 26, 201213 yr In the "nobody's perfect" category, I pass on this warning: Samsung Galaxy S3 'vulnerable' to remote malicious reset http://www.theverge....t-vulnerability Samsung is finding itself in a spot of bother this morning, as a particular piece of HTML code has emerged that, when clicked, instantly resets the Galaxy S II — and potentially other Android devices running the TouchWiz UI. Posted by Pau Oliva earlier today, the code was initially thought to affect the current flagship Galaxy S III model, however multiple negative reports and our own testing have shown that it only brings up the phone's dialer, failing to execute the full reset without user intervention. The latter is really the issue here: Samsung's software changes atop stock Android are allowing the GS II to automatically dial the hard reset code, taking away a critical aspect of user control. The Galaxy S II is the only device we're certain is affected by the problem so far, thoughTweakers.net reports successfully recreating it on the Galaxy S Advance as well. We're in touch with Samsung to get a better idea of the full scale and depth of this vulnerability. Update: We have now tested this flaw on an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S III and have confirmed it works on that carrier's version of the phone. Samsung tells us it's "looking into" the reports. Google never liked 3rd parties "Skining" the Android with custom UI experiences. I think they were even going to stop the practice entirely for a while, and were talked out of it. I wonder it they will be revisiting that, after this? Apple gets flack occasionally for draconian control, but sometimes there is a method to the madness..... We are all connected..... Luckily our work phones (SGS2's) were rooted immediately and work on pure Android, so it appears that we are safe. ANYTHING digital is open to abuse, Apple included, but what concerns me most is not the abusers, but those that bury their heads in the sand and say "I'll be right".
