October 16, 201213 yr Commercial Member Robert, can I ask who is helping PMDG on this project? I don't mean names of people, but for example "Boeing 777 team management, aviation engineers, pilots, etc, etc" - you get the idea. Can you tell us? That's pretty much spot on - Boeing info + our initial tech advisory team (which will be added to soon with more pilots, mx engineers etc). October 17, 201213 yr That's pretty much spot on - Boeing info + our initial tech advisory team (which will be added to soon with more pilots, mx engineers etc). Cool, have you guys ever thought of doing a similar thing to the end credits you see after a movie has finished, where you'd list companies and people (if they wanted to be identified, obviously) who worked on or contributed information/technical data for the 777 project? I reckon it'd be a nice touch, a way of acknowledging those who helped make this project go from dream to reality. Matthew Bellette

October 17, 201213 yr Yup! That is a cool little feature. After all that work and time involved, good to see all the bodies involved in the NGX development credited within the very brain (CDU) they created. October 17, 201213 yr Nice update. I'm confused about timing of the various projects again. I was under the impression that the DC-6 would be first and then the 777, now I'm not sure. Last we heard about the DC-6 it was (to quote Robert) "Dangerously close to Beta testing" and that he hoped it would be released in the summer. (That's the June update.) Strangely quiet. Oh well. Maybe the next update will have some info on it. Doug Orvis PP-ASEL-IA (USA), Based at KHEF Picture courtesy of Kyle Rodgers
October 17, 201213 yr Then of course, Ryan does a really good job of making me feel guilty if I go too long without talking to you guys- even (as in this case) if I am exceedingly busy and don't have anything to SHOW you... (I much prefer showing you stuff over telling you about stuff!) My default position is to presume that "they know we are working so when we have something else to say, we can update them at that time!" but Ryan insists you guys would rather hear from us a bit more often. And he's right. Thanks for the update!
