December 13, 201213 yr Instead of making the FCOM bedtime reading someone come up with 12 days of Airbus{Christmas}. JeffG Jeffrey Gerbert
December 13, 201213 yr I sit in the cockpit of a real Airbus A319/320/321 three or for days a week with the APU running for about 15-20 minutes, the fuel gauge never moves. That won't be enough to convince a dedicated simmer! David Porrett
December 13, 201213 yr That won't be enough to convince a dedicated simmer! You are absolutely correct. It's amazing how much stuff I thought I knew.
December 14, 201213 yr Especially given that it may take 10 years just for the planes you mention to even be released, assuming they all do. And I'm guessing that the developers DO care about money. Money, time, effort, expertise, manpower, etc, etc, etc. Most have a target demographic and for PMDG that may mean the hardcore systems simmer, for Aerosoft that may be the mid range enthusiast, and for some others (who shall remain nameless) are targeting the turn and burn folk. None are right or wrong, all cater to whom they feel are their audience. Huh?? Concord and the J41 are already released. The 777 and Airbus will be this year or next. the only one that might be longer than 2013 is the 747v2.
December 14, 201213 yr It's interesting how we all judge products. I bought the Wilco airbus evolution series and thought the VC was so poor that I permanently parked it in the hangar. I look at the quality of the extended VC and I am seriously impressed. PMDG have created some fantastic aircraft vc wise such as the the MD11 and the B737. While the system depth doesn't match PMDG, I think what Aerosoft has created for the middle of the road simmer is awesome. And I am sure the FSL version will meet the needs of the full system nerds

December 14, 201213 yr Yes, those two planes are indeed available. The others will be out when they are out, and unless you have inside information (i.e. are actually the developer) then none of use have any idea when the others will be out. I was merely making a reference to the fact that someone would be occupied flying aircraft that are not even on the market yet. Clearly that tongue in cheek reference was not as obvious as it seemed to me. - Aaron
December 14, 201213 yr You might want to read posts more thoroughly before making "funny" remarks. My post said "My shopping list is:", who do you refer to to be occupied with flying planes that are not yet released? Tongue in cheek, yes indeed
December 14, 201213 yr I read the post thoroughly, it was not after all too complicated to begin with. At any rate, back to the Airbus discussion... far more interesting. - Aaron
December 15, 201213 yr Guys- I take back some of my earlier comments. It appears the Fuel page on the ECAM is now proper ( or at least it appears so in a screenshot posted in there forum). Im talking about how the fuel tanks automatically transfer fuel between tanks. Alieron droop is still not been verified by the team. i MAY by this once released, but im still not 100 percent. Its really funny how you say so many negative things when its not even out yet or completed. Then you do some research and you might want to buy it.....

December 15, 201213 yr how aerosoft call it "extended", when it cant even do a proper managed descent, it also wont have the donut showing on the profile, or a line on the route showing where the descent will end. I swear aerosoft would try and shine S&%t and make it look like gold

December 15, 201213 yr Commercial Member I swear aerosoft would try and shine S&%t and make it look like gold Extended is not the S&%t for you. FSLabs is. So why are you even replying here. Obviously your affair with aerosoft is more than just interest, it is hate. Joshua C. WSSS
