Airbus Extended Close To Release!

Featured Replies

- no need to wait guys. There are already a few half baked airbus products on the market. You can have them right now.

No disrespect to the developers, but why not do something different and do it right.

Wow....You must really dislike Aerosoft.....

Just a tad

Sorry Andrew, didn't mean to offend

There's quite a lot missing from the actual airbus (and all the advanced stuff, bla bla) but all we need to experience the Airbus is there, or should be, unlike its previous incarnations... Also, it's been SO long since you guys have shown us some piccies *hint* *hint* :P :P

Help us decide lol :)

The Wilco one is a bit outdated in tem of design but still, if you use it with some of the Avsim.ru repaints, it looks very good. As for the systems., they we updated with input fro' real A320 pilots so it is very accurate. And it is OUT... Not like Aerosoft and Fslabs !

too much, too soon....

And it is OUT... Not like Aerosoft and Fslabs !

So we should only consider aircraft that have already been released?

I don't trust WIlco at all, I have my own reasons, and I'm not the only one. :)

Most trusted publishers are certainly Aerosoft, PMDG & FSLabs, so...

Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.

It's nothing near what FSlabs will be, that's for sure.

It sounds perfect to me because it sounds like a good halfway house between a default plane and say the pndg 737ngx. Sounds like you don't have to read 6in of manuals but could get it into the air with minimum fuss. I'm a Boeing man through and through and haven't had the time to get to know that in complete detail yet. So will keep an eye on it.

I am not against Aerosoft, in fact I may consider it since FSlabs seems to be a ways away still. Not much progress updates.

That said, if we really want to learn about flying, then a more in depth system is appropriate. So that if you flip a switch or engage a system that is not correct there is consequences or a negative reaction to the aircraft. Ive flown some eye candy products whereby a switch or systems button that functions as just a switch but nothing really happens is kinda boring. I might as well press ctrl E and start up and fly A-B . In fact if things are skipped, we might as well hoped for Microsofts Flight to be successful. LOL

I do expect a good measure of systems actually simulated and not a pretend. We do pay decent money for it.

IMHO

Unless you just like eye candy and an APU that doesnt even burn fuel.

I sit in the cockpit of a real Airbus A319/320/321 three or for days a week with the APU running for about 15-20 minutes, the fuel gauge never moves.

APU on a 737 uses like 80Kg of fuel per hour with packs off (about the same on an A320?), i doubt anyone would see the gauge move in 20 mins

Hello Mr Kok, do we have an estimate on when this will be released and a price for current owners of the airbus v1?

Thankyou

Chris XXXXXXX

This year and you should count on about 50% discount. Not 100% sure yet though.

Do the old Airbus X customers really get a discount?

Thanks,

Kevin L

Do the old Airbus X customers really get a discount?

From the FAQ here: http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/57072-features/

  • Download with Airbus X serial code discount: 16.16 Euro (inc EU-VAT 19.95 Euro)
  • Airbus X box to new download Airbus X Extended 16.16 Euro
  • Airbus X box to new download Airbus X Extended box 20.17 Euro

It is it's own standalone product, so you can still keep using the Airbus X as well, or, you can remove the Airbus X and use the Airbus X Extended exclusively. All you need is your serial from your Airbus X purchase to get the discount.

Regards,

Kyle
