December 14, 201213 yr No, that is definitely not FSX. There's not a single building there that I've seen in FSX or screen shots. Lighted windows on the building look odd. The trees are 3 dimensional, not made up of flat images. Even the countryside on that hill doesn't look like anything I've seen in FSX or screenshots. The flight models are very odd. They look like they came from a sim over 20 years old. The other aircraft move in an unnatural manner. Oh, and did you see that guy making a totally uncoordinated turn in the helo? The slip from hell. It's the pedal on the right, fella. I suppose I could be a bit snarky and say the only thing that looks like FSX is the cockpits. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

December 14, 201213 yr Wow that was so silky smooth, I wonder how much of the world they modeled Enough to perform operations in and around a populated city. My guess is only a large metropolitan city. Bob Officially retired
December 14, 201213 yr The dead give away that it was FSX or P3D : (1) Autogen was not "Popping" up in the distance. (2) It ran that that high resolution for more than a minute, without an OOM.
December 14, 201213 yr Fair enough. Still looks like FSX to me Doesn't look like FSX to me--although some of the generic buildings look close to FSX's autogen. The more detailed buildings look much better than anything I've seen in FSX. Also I was impressed with how fluid the sim looked. The ground textures were also crisper--some looked almost photoreal. Good video--wonder what hardware it's running on.... John
December 14, 201213 yr Wow look at the FPS smoothness at that resolution!! It doesnt even stutter I want one for my basement suite! I hope its no more than 89.95$ :lol: CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,
December 16, 201213 yr Just a comment, the guy narrating that sure sounds like the dude from A2A simulations. "Why, he just jumped into the air and kept right on going."
December 17, 201213 yr Just a comment, the guy narrating that sure sounds like the dude from A2A simulations. Not at all. Tired of Streetlights everywhere? Try MSFS DarkStreets today!
December 17, 201213 yr Was the first location in the video near Spokane? The dome building at 0:06 reminds me of a structure I saw in the 24th screen shot of Orbx Felts Field on the FTX web site. . . .
December 17, 201213 yr Moderator So... I wonder how many letters, e-mails and such will be sent to the folks in Chicago begging, pleading and screaming for them to make this 'training device' available? "Ooh, ooh, pleeeze tell us when we can buy this! Will it work with Windows 8? Can I use my ORBX Ultimate Antarctica FSX/P3D/XP add on with it? What about my Project OpenCaptainSimSky PMDG AirBus A380 NGX with Chocolate trim... will it work, too? You'll sell millions of copies! After all, we're the shiznit in Computer Gaming... we have millions of fans, and we're bigger than everybody else in Gaming, too! Why? Because we think we are... that's why! Oh, where can we download the game?" :rolleyes:
December 17, 201213 yr Alan and all you others: this commentary is brilliant, but remember very soon someone will quote it as gospel proof that at last Boeing is going to save us from X-Plane. KInd regards, Ian McPhail
