He's allowed to ask.  Whether or not it's been discussed before is not one of the criterium for posting I believe. He's new.  Lets go easy on him. :)

Some would say the the CS one is good (and it's no doubt very pretty), while others would say it should be expunged from FSX forever because it is so bad. Some would say the QW one is the best one going, while others would say it's a frame hog. I have neither, but would lean towards QW. Don't get the Just Flight one - it's not worth it, even though it's free.

If you fly the RW 757, then of course both machines wont do what you expect them to do.

Captainsim are very good at visuals and eye candy and will get your pc all hot n sweaty. That being said, it will get you half way across the globe using vnav

I dont own the QualityWings 757, but from, what I can I see, I would assume that it is on a par with visuals, there would be less ' eye candy'. I also assume the systems are on a par withe CS, just more refined.

I would say Qualitywings, systems are a bit simplified (and they aren't that great with CS either), but I think the cockpit of QW looks better, less cartoonish than CS one.

Also soundset of QW 757 is superior to CS, it's cheaper and in my opinion it also has way better flight dynamics, the feel is just so much better with QW.

Still waiting for Level-D  :t0152:

CS - fine to look at, a lot of bugs

QW - more simple systems, looks pretty nice though not as good as the CS.

I believe the QW uses the Flight1 wrapper, so you can get your money back if you are not satisfied.

CS is fine, some work to learn how to use it properly, often referred to as bugs, flight model in my opinion suits hand flying well, goes on sale every six months or so.

QW has good sounds, systems include everything you need.

If you have patience, get the CS during a sale, if not, get the QW then get the CS during the sale.

Completely ridiculous. LNAV/VNAV logic is broken. TOD is bugged. Doesn't hold speed or alt constraints. Mach/speed change doesn't work. etc etc etc. Stop insulting the knowledge of the users just because you want to like a product.

The FDE is just a default 737 FDE with more powerful engines.

That is incorrect. They use it for the 146, however, the 757 was and still is under Esellerate. There is no refund possible with the 757.

Esselerate is ridiculous, only reason why i never purchased the 757 from QW. I've tested it though, and i prefer it to the CS version. Simpler but more reliable and overall better looking.

I have found the CS version to be very good looking and even handleing well when hand flying.  But it has a lot of bugs and the cockpit night lighting is annoying with the CS 757/767.  The QW is overall better in my opinion because it functions accurately without bugs, better sound, and better performance on the computer.  The QW does not look as nice as captain sim; that and the QW having a simplified FMC are my only complaints with it.

+1 for Captain Sim's one. Looks and flies great.
