Is there really no chance for Prepar3d support?

Featured Replies

Hi!

Only a few weeks left before we´ll get the V2 of the "new" flightsim. It seems that the performance will be way better etc. I´m really afraid that i will never be able to fly my loved PMDG T7 in this simulator and i´ve got a question for you all: Is there really no chance that PMDG will release their products for Prepar3d...?

Greetings from Germany,

Maurice Kroll

Have you not read the numerous threads on this subject already?

Answer is no.

Have you meant, that no add-ons (both freeware and payware) will work with P3D?

Have you read the OP? He asks about PMDG products.

This... Again... Really?

Since you're not exactly new here, I'm betting it's safe to say you do know where the Search box is located... You'll get an answer MUCH faster that way.

PMDG have made their position crystal clear on this for some time (whether anyone agrees or not) - bringing the subject up again (and again) isn't going to change anything. Get used to it is my suggestion.

I see people use the NGX in P3D on youtube alot. Just sayin.

Give the guy a break fellas. I've also read the stance Robert has taken on P3D, but I too am confused as to why. OK, I understand the EULA thing, but LM have said quite categorically now that anyone can use P3D for flight simulation... OFFICIAL. So, bearing this in mind, I don't actually think that asking the question is unreasonable. However, I'll shut up 'cos I don't want to start another discussion about the B****y EULA...

Here's what I'm going to do, vote with my wallet and not buy anymore PMDG products until they support P3D.

PMDG is the only reason I will stay with FSX. Until someone makes a 737NG, MD-11, 747, and T7 that is as good as PMDG's offerings and works in P3Dv2 I will be forced to stay with FSX since those are the only planes I enjoy flying in the sim.

I doubt t that will make any difference for the small percentage of people who will deprive themselves of PMDG's products just to prove a point. Their market is much bigger than the small amount of folks here at AVSIM who lobby for v2 compatibility.

I'm willing to bet that the difference in experience will be greater between FSX and P3D V2 than it is between the iFly NG and PMDG's offering.

Hi,

I didn't stop buying from PMDG to prove a point, their products are great. I wish they were on-board with P3D, I'd be the "FIRST ONE" to hand them my credit card. But alas they are not on board. I did not buy the triple 7 for one reason, I've moved on to a better sim (P3D) platform, one that is still in development and expanding as we speak.

In light of the new developments with P3D and the fact we are not privy to closed discussions, I believe the question is a valid one. If the answer is still no, then fine... That's a wrap.

I've already made the decision to deprive myself of PMDG's aircraft for a better flightsim platform.

Just as you have made the decision to deprive yourself of a better platform, a platform that is going to take flight sim to heights never before realized.

We ALL have our priorities.

As far as a company like PMDG is concerned the EULAs are official. Those haven't been changed yet

I must admit, as much as I love my PMDG gear, the P3D V2 Blogs have certainly peeked my interest for the first time. I will certainly be watching the reviews for further consideration - PMDG or no PMDG...

Hi,

Seeing how PMDG is not the END USER, how does the END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT apply to them?. Just Wondering... :P
