January 1, 201412 yr There will be also a lot of remakes from Aerosoft Mega Airports like EDDF,EIDW,LPPT,.... but afaik only for FSX. Maybe EDDF will be done for FS9 too as it's done by GAP team if I remember right. Also expect: Drzewiecki Design New York Airports (FSX+FS9) EPWA Airport (FSX+FS9) Tallinn Airport (FSX+FS9) Sheremetyevo UUEE (FSX+(FS9)) Aerosoft Canary Islands -> FSX but I'm not sure of FS9 later T2G Istanbul -> I heard about FSX+FS9 Enigma Sim B737CL (FSX) I'm personal looking forward for the NY airports for FS9. 3 major airports and 3 smaller ones in one pack and in typical DD quality. Also up-to-date. Thats better then FSDT thats why I'm waiting for DD. But also FlyTampa CYYZ will be interesting as I'm actual only flying to CYUL and thats getting boring Greetings Eddi
January 1, 201412 yr One more - Jan Visser's upcoming vintage VC for Manfred Jahn's freeware C-47/DC-3. Yes, it's an addon to an addon, but still a big deal - the finishing touch for a terrific FSX aircraft. Alan Ampolsk"Ah, Paula, they are firing at me!"-- Saint-Exupery
January 1, 201412 yr ORBX north california I used to be excited for their stuff but their regions really hit the VAS hard! And it seems like other than PNW, the regions are degraded in quality. I also own CRM and NRM and they're just "meh." I do enjoy a few of their airports but they also destroy the VAS. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
January 1, 201412 yr Looking foward to the A2A Cherokee series, Real Air T-Duke V2, Aerosoft ASK-21, Milviz Mu-2 (if it gets relesed this year), and FTX Nor Cal. Cheers TJ "The knack of flying is learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." - Douglas Adams Tejon 'TJ' Stanley
January 1, 201412 yr I vouch for alot of those aircraft above, particularly airliners and some of the sceneries mentioned. I would like to add Prepar3d V2 further updates and improvements, and major step forward in compatibility with other addons to make it mainstream successor to FSX. What I would like to hope for in 2014 is that developers have a little more open communication with the hands that feed them, thier customers. Not release dates. Just short simple updates on how a project is going. But then again, its probably too much to ask. CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,
January 1, 201412 yr I actually wish there was no fanfare about previews. That suddenly an amazing aircraft would just appear. Then there wouldn't be any speculation because we could test the product ourselves. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
January 2, 201412 yr Author PMDG B747 V2 is long over due in my opinion along with EDDF V2 from Aerosoft. Please, please someone do a quality KSNA for 2014. I was just thinking about the need for a new FRA. I agree, a new version has to come. Derek MacPherson At the risk of sounding cliche, I love planes.GTX 770 / i7-4790K / 16GB DDR3

January 2, 201412 yr Hmm, New Year Resolution - "Don't buy any P3D or FSX addons in 2014" Well none except for Aerosoft F-14 with USS Kittyhawk carrier FSDT KIAH Houston Flight Beam KDEN Denver Razbam EMB-120 The Airport Guys KBWI Baltimore or anything by these guys Anything else would be nothing but a dream sheet. And of course if anything like A2A F-4 Phantom or F-104 were to arrive. And that is all. I won't buy any addons this year except those I listed. And of course if someone was secretly developing a KC-135 and released it in 2014 I would buy it. And nothing else! The only thing I would add to this plan would be a T-37B Tweet if one was being developed and released this year and nothing else, seriously... The only thing else I would buy if made available in 2014 would be a MV-22 Osprey for P3D/FSX So in reality my top 5 at the beginning of this dream sheet will be most likely for me. January 2, 201412 yr I try to limit myself to one flight sim purchase per month, and some of the lists above hit upon some aircraft/scenery that I am looking forward to, specifically: Orbx Northern Cal (and I agree, Ryan - the airports really hit the VAS - I usually disable the "flow" components and dial back on the "grass") Orbx OpenLC for 'Murica The Milvix 350i looks magnificent!!! While the idea of a Carenado Phenom is appealing, I have to say my recent purchase of the Wilco TBM850 blows the Carenado "flyability" out of the water. Not too keen on Carenado products anymore... beauty appears to be skin deep. Wow - that's only three products! But then again, I haven't purchased P3D V2 yet...
