Did FlightBeam scrap the unannounced project then?

I forgot about this one. Looking forward to it as well. FSX really needs another good business/corp jet. Not holding out much hope for Carenado's Phenom being any good system wise but I'm sure it will be gorgeous to look at.

I'm only hoping for one: Austria Pro HD West - although there are plenty of good looking addons in the tube.

2014???? What? Please stop developing DEVs!!! I'm going broke. : (

I need to start using all the stuff bought in 2013 first!

But seriously, having just bought a new computer I took great advantage of the Thanksgiving to Xmas sale. I spent Atleast $400.

2 Flightbeam, 4 UK2000, and 3 Orbx airports! 3 Flytampas ...

Literally each of the Orbx Regions except Ireland and Wales ( not on sale)

Airbus Extended, Turbine Duke, Milviz 407, Ants T28D... (Only AEX and Turbine Duke was on sale)

Topped off with FTx Global!

To be honest, I think the deals on most of these were pretty good.

For 2014 the A2A Cherokee is an instant download, but I will have to hold out for anything else...... Not that I have much will power. : (

I'm excited only if it's not the same style of modeling they've been using for a decade. Need to get away from that flat looking C750 VC.

And if the glass won't freeze like the C750 does to me.

I'm sure it will be up to current day standards.

I've come to the conclusion that a lot of addons I bought, in fact are just collecting virtual dust on my harddrive. For instance Aerosoft Skiathos; top notch product, but I've only briefly toured the island for like 10 minutes or so and have not been there since. Not because it isn't nice, but just because I've got way to much destinations as it is already

I'm in the same boat as you. I went through a phase where I was buying just about every big airport that was released for both North America and Europe thinking about how many possibilities I would have for new destinations to fly to. Truth be told, since I fly 90% of my time in North America, the vast majority of my airport hardly ever get used. I was also going to buy Skiathos, but came to the conclusion that I would probably rarely ever fly there so I skipped it. I'm at the point now, a few grand lighter in the wallet, that unless its a major hub in the US, like KIAH by FSDT or KDEN by FB, I will most likely not buy it or at least wait until its on sale.

From time to time I still check Aerosoft's deal of the week and see if there is an airport that I have considered getting in the past but skipped, I will give it consideration if the price is right. I really need to concentrate on using what I already have rather than adding more and more that I will rarely use or even need.
