February 1, 201412 yr I found it impossible to get it off the ground. Whatcha wanna bet he didn't do a pre-flight inspection and had water in the fuel? Or didn't do a runup and had fouled spark plugs? Or even had broken elevator hinges or linkage? Since the last update, people have been caught out not doing inspections. "My airspeed indicator shows zero!" "Did you remove the pitot cover before flight?" "... oh." If you want realism, you'll get realism! Precisely! Edit: better check the oil, too. At least one person reported having no oil in the aircraft. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
February 1, 201412 yr Commercial Member What's more fun is when you do get it in the air, only to find out that skipping the pre-flight inspection was a bad, bad thing! Jim Stewart Milviz Person.
February 1, 201412 yr I found it impossible to get it off the ground. Returned it to my hangar. Jim, You should join us in the Back Country Prop Club for an afternoon one day. Ron (Attwood) was great help aiding me to get the (A2A) C172 engine to start for the first time. :Big Grin: When we're there (Teamspeak) it's around 4 - 6pm EST. -Rob
February 1, 201412 yr And just about everything everyone here mentioned is the reason why I am delaying buying it as much as possible lol. Waleed N

Noooo lol - don't let that stuff scare you, it's actually a very approachable simulation. You can turn all the failure stuff off, and there's a quick start option as well. You can 'ease' into it if you like. Even with everything simulated, the walkaround is quite quick, and of course the nature of the plane makes it pretty simple to fly. Jim Stewart Milviz Person.

February 1, 201412 yr Wow that is quite a work of art for training my goodness! It looks like the perfect companion to P3DV2. Is there a V2 installer or was it in any way optimized for V2? February 1, 201412 yr It's said to work in P3Dv2, and A2A seems happy with this, but it's not *officially* officially supported yet. I'm sure it will be at some point. For now, just install and use it. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

Jim, no worries as I intend to get it when P3d releases its sp and use them together. I figured it is high time (35 year delay lol) I learn to fly in the rw, and what better way than to "cheat" at home prior to starting my lessons. Waleed N
