doubtful it will probably be too pricey for an addon
  6. I spend more time flying this than any other plane
  7. what format are the files in? PDF?
  8. since sublogic flight simulator on the apple II, about 1984
  9. one of my favorite european airports to fly into
  10. Your CPU running at 2.8G doesn't help Your video card is pretty much a minimum these days An SSD isn't the answer for you Higher RAM freq won't significantly help What is your OS?
  11. Programming an FMC may seem daunting, but it's actually pretty simple once you've done it a few times. If you don't want to use SID/STAR, no big deal, but try it anyways. You may enjoy the added realism it provides.
  12. Until XPlane is up to where we want it to be, or some other revolutionary FS program appears on the horizon, I'll just stick with FSX No plans to move to P3D
  13. I originally used the CH Fighterstick for a few years & was satisfied with it. Not long ago the switches were becoming intermittent so it was time for a replacement. I thought about getting another like it since it worked well for years, but instead went with the TM Warthog. This thing is in a class all by itself. Now that I've used it for a little while I will never go back to a regular joystick ever again. I also have the CH pro throttle & pedals but never really liked them. Never felt intuitive to me. Also have the CH throttle quadrant & it lasted about a year before the axis potentiometers started acting up.
  14. A2A C-172 is one of my 2 favorite planes
  15. I spend pretty much equal time on the A2A C-172 & the VRS F/A-18
  16. try deleting fsx.cfg it will rebuild a new one
  17. Do you use a throttle controller? I had the same thing happen & turned out to be a CH products throttle screwing up.
  18. This is normal when using 3 monitors & that resolution. I have it, too. There is a youtube video (can't remember the name of it) that describes this issue on why this is normal. I usually just use eyepoint back & to the right to get more cockpit in view. It drives me crazy sometimes. I'm thinking of getting TrackIR to help compensate for it.
  19. I've noticed this too I was going crazy trying to find the cause
  20. Yes, it's a lot, and if the current pace of pricing keeps up, I probably won't get what's coming next I bought it because I think I can get $90 worth of enjoyment out of it I spend more than this whenever the wife & I go to the ballgame John Sanford

It was exactly what I expected it would cost, since they tend to have a pattern. That means their next plane will be $99 (747 v2?). Yes, I will get the 777 John Sanford
  22. I have 2 GTX 670's in SLI & run 3 24" monitors in Nvidia Surround. I love the immersion feel but not the resolution (5760x1080) When flying GA aircraft it is great, but with airliners panning around the panel is annoying. Perhaps TrackIR might make it easier. Do not see any FPS issues with multiple monitors.

I sure hope so. I'd be lying if I said price wasn't a dealbreaker. I'm quite happy with what I have already, but if it's priced too high I can live without it.
