Currently there is a problem with the country field during sign-up and checkout on the store. The people responsible for fixing this is no doubt spending time with their families on Christmas day. Hopefully this will be rectified ASAP!

I managed to complete the purchase with an old debit card I had lying around with a few bucks left on it, but in the past half hour there have been two attempts to withdraw money from that account, for €99,99 by a company called: XS SOFTWARE GAMES.

 

 

(Not that it matters much, there's nothing to get from that account...)

 

Tim Fuchs is an official management partner from REX Game Studio, I have no doubt about that. I dont want to draw any premature conclusions, but I'm starting to get the feeling his account(s) might be compromised...

If this is legitimate why I havent recieved a confirmation for my purchase I made many hours ago.

Also why it didnt let me pay with PayPal?

 

Im almost ready to call the bank to cancel my credit card because of this, please respond ASAP.

 

I have an order ID confirming my purchase, but no e mail, no link , nothing!!

When all of this is sorted out I will buy in a second - Tim lets Us know when this will be available without issues as this looks like a blend of P3D and rex which is perfect for me

It's funny after all the "HD" hype, that now softer clouds look more realistic, which they do. I doubt I'll drop more money for REX.

It all looks great. When it shows up on the REX site and Flightsim Store, I'll bite. I searched the REX forums and the closest thing I got was a vague thread in November.

 

REX has never introduced anything in such a haphazard fashion. No teasers, no forum activity, no previews. Is it a scam? If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck....

 

I realize there was a response from a REX person, but can that be spoofed? Not being a conspiracy theorist, just wondering.

Yes this is all very strange...if it's not a scam, I assume the OP stumbled across the release while it was still in the distro stage (and not quite ready for primetime)...

I never knew that REX Game Studios had its own online store. When you try to purchase anything directly from the REX Game Studios website, your are referred to page that has links to other online stores:

According to WHOIS, the main REX website site is registered to J. Stough in Tempe Arizona. The site:

is registered to Falcon Internet, which is an Internet web site provider in Greensboro, NC. It's probably no big deal, but it might be worth waiting to see if REX now has it's own online store.

I'm going to wait until this shows up on FSS (some of the posts above don't inspire confidence...)

How come your main website has no link to your own store? You might want to fix that at some point. Merry Christmas and I hope that the new product is a big seller.
