December 26, 201411 yr Hi Jose sorry no fsx loaded - its very nice - here is a shot right out of sim and Rex gui to show the request to see it - what I am actually thinking is Rex has always given killer shots of Their up-coming products but not with this one - which leads me to believe some people were not ready as was I - doesn't matter nice Christmas present I was not expecting but lets remember Rex has always supplied a quality product That pic looks very good. I really hope that Tim considers an update to REX4 with these new clouds. The GUI looks the same as REX4. MSFS

December 26, 201411 yr Commercial Member To those of you who had reservations that it wasn't a legit release, we have now updated our main REX website: http://www.realenvironmentxtreme.com More website updating to come as we're currently on a limited holiday schedule. Thank you all again for your interest. Tim FuchsManaging PartnerREX SIMULATIONS website: www.rexsimulations.comsupport: www.rexaxis.com
December 26, 201411 yr I'm so confused as there are too many Rex products already to throw another paid cloud program out there. Absolutely. I would happily consider this IF it were an Update Pack for $10 for TextureDirect. Not going to install yet another texture loading program since I already use REX E & TD--it's getting goofy I agree. That pic looks very good. I really hope that Tim considers an update to REX4 with these new clouds. The GUI looks the same as REX4. 1000+. Come on Tim, integrate the blithering thing--I'll still pay for it for sure! December 26, 201411 yr No problem to buy and download REX Soft Clouds. Easy to install and the GUI looks similar to REX4. I don't care that it is an extra stand alone tool but it would be nice to have it integrated in REX4 Texture direct. Stunning clouds available and to use without any FPS hit. Spirit
December 26, 201411 yr Tim, just my 2cents : Why not one program with one gui where Rex Ess + OD , Rex TD and now Rex Soft Clouds can be installed ? Much simpler to work with and where future packages can be added too. ( Like Orbx has ...) Btw : if I buy this can't I copy all those Soft Clouds into Rex TD ? 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
December 26, 201411 yr Commercial Member @Noel, we will consider this, it's actually easy to integrate. @Spirit, thank you for your support! @Gerard, very interesting idea, let me run this by our team. As for your question, no this wouldn't work. See my answer to Noel above, this is a great idea! I will inform in the coming days. December 26, 201411 yr +1 to integration it would be nice to keep all of the rex addons neatly in one package Tom Tom Why not read some useful tips and tricks - http://forum.avsim.n...22#entry1965722
December 26, 201411 yr I would happily pay extra for the intergration, its a fresh burst of life. Rick
December 26, 201411 yr Just installed set 06 into P3D. Looks great. Because of the 3 monitors I resized it to 256x256 ( and also sharpened it to compensate for the lower resolution ) for maximum performance. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

December 26, 201411 yr Do you need REX to be installed at all to have these clouds? or can I just purchase these clouds and just use as stand alone package... Reading the user manual I get the idea this is a total stand alone and you do not need REX which I do not have. If someone could kindly confirm thank you
December 26, 201411 yr Ive bought based on quick honest answer by Tim over on Rex forums..cant test as with family but fingers crossed... K Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS
December 26, 201411 yr Sorry, no interest here I'm afraid. On principle. After eventually convincing myself that REX's much vaunted and updated DIRECT state-of-the-art clouds were worth spending more cash on recently, we now have an Option that really should, and could have, easily been built-in to the full REX programme, as added value. Or at least a free update at this point? Sure, it's their choice, and there's the rub. I for one agree with Kevin who feels it's 'gouging'. The web is full of it these days. I see it as opportunistic; the 'launch' said it all. Half-baked and some might argue 'sneaked under the door' while people are relaxed and mellow over the holiday season. Sorry if this sounds a bit harsh. But to me REX's reputation emerges a bit tarnished. I'm happy for the fan-boys though. Gareth Wilkinson LEAL Costa Blanca, SPAIN
