December 26, 201411 yr jho Im in the same problem as you, I paid yesterday for the clouds and nothing, no link, e mail, no responses from REX (I emailed them) I also sent a PM to TIM here on the forums and no reply. It is disappointing I know is only $10 but I dont like to pay for something and not getting it. When I check my order history it says I have no purchase made. Credit card says it has been charged though and I have an order ID
December 26, 201411 yr Commercial Member I had no idea that you sent a PM to me here as I wasn't alerted. I never received an email either. Perhaps another staff member received it and has yet to respond. Also remember, yesterday was Christmas and we're limited on support for the holidays. I will check my PM immediately following this message! Tim FuchsManaging PartnerREX SIMULATIONS website: www.rexsimulations.comsupport: www.rexaxis.com

December 26, 201411 yr Commercial Member No, I don't. If they release a NEW product like Weather Architect or Weather Direct, I will happily pay for these programs even though technically speaking you could view them as updates to REX+OD because these features where included there. Nevertheless as this will likely give us new functionality, I have no problem paying for it. But a new cloud texture set? Come on, you must be kidding me. Clouds are in integral part of REX4 TD and carving this part out and selling new textures as a seperate add-on smells a lot like profit maximization. And it makes the product line even more confusing than it already is... I'm also of the opinion of one GUI. I currently use REX for FS9 (which I understand should likely remain standalone), REX Essentials+OD, and REX 4 TD. 3 GUIs, and I wind up mixing and matching textures from Essentials and 4. Wish I could just have a one stop shop because there are some textures in Essentials I enjoy which are not included in 4, and vice versa. Does this mean that, with the latest SP for Essentials/TD, development and updates (free or otherwise) for those products have concluded? Or is the new pricing strategy from REX include paying for additional textures in packages in between major iterations of software? December 26, 201411 yr Here's a side-by-side comparison from REX SC and REX4 TD. Keep in mind that if you are going to do comparisons, REX 4 Soft Clouds only are 512 resolution . They should be compared to the same resolution and compression type from REX4 Texture 4.

Hey all Timest helped me out and figured out that it was my own dumb a$$ my paypal is linked to another email, and the order system sends all info to that email. the spam filter on my hotmail had them in the junk folder DOH so it wasn't a Rex issue after all im installing shortly and will reply back with my thoughts Thanks to Rex for putting up with my stupidity JHo Jaime Horton

December 27, 201411 yr I think I'll pass on this; when I look at the screen shots to me they look alot like XP10 clouds? Not necessarily a bad thing but, I'll hold off and see if they are able to integrate it into the TD GUI. I agree with the others who question REX and their marketing methods this release seems like a complete polar opposite to REX SIMAIR; I hope in the future they'll find the middle ground. I have been a bit hard on REX when it comes to SIMAIR and a bit critical of Latitude too but truth be told I am a fan of their products and appreciate the fact that they can take criticism from Simmer's without getting heated. IMO I would have liked to see them make good on 2014 being the year of SIMAIR than to release another stand alone texture pack. RE Thomason Jr.
