February 10, 201511 yr The whole folder? The Shaders HLSL folder? No, this is not the one. I really wish that people would provide more accurate information for others that are not aware of this. The correct folder is located here..... User/AppData/Local/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3d v2/Shaders ** It is a hidden folder, so you need to go to the Organise Menu, and select Folder and Search Options, then View, and then click on Show hidden files, folders and drives to access it. February 10, 201511 yr I really wish that people would provide more accurate information for others that are not aware of this. +1 for this. I wonder how many people actually delete the wrong folder, and then are left wondering what went wrong. What I have done, is created a shortcut, on my desktop, pointing to the proper shaders folder. Then, it's just a matter of opening it up, and deleting the contents. Regards, Jazz
February 10, 201511 yr NVIDIA talks about a fix that should be available in the next few hours. I'll wait then ... thanks for the info. Seems like this driver was rushed out the door for Evolve ... which is apparently a ... drum roll ... wait for it ... wait for it ... a multiplayer shooter ... surprise surprise surprise. ... this is disappointing news ... maybe it's time I cover my bases and get some AMD GPUs and see if the hills are any greener on that side. Working with nVidia does seem rather futile. No cheers, Rob.

I cound never find my appdata/local path manualy without using the Search option. Ok now i know how to find it. Thank you Christopher. I wonder how many people actually delete the wrong folder, and then are left wondering what went wrong. I deleted my ShadersHLSL folder last night and was left with no Picture, i ran Installer again and all was ok.

February 10, 201511 yr AMD are even worse, Rob. Their parts are lower priced for a reason, they're junk. OK, that might sound a little harsh, but the performance has steadily declined since AMD bought out ATI. The gpu department has taken the same road as the cpu department, straight into the ditch. just my very biased opinion. regards, Jazz
February 10, 201511 yr I did, just couldn't resist the temptation. ;o) Back to my Q400 trip out of YUL. Cheers, Jazz
February 11, 201511 yr I'm not seeing any different versions (fix) of 347.xx ... so I'll probably hold off on this driver version and stick with 337.88 ... I use ShadowPlay frequently because of it's recording efficiency, stability, and easy of use. Anyway, back to working over my goat... Cheers, Rob.
February 11, 201511 yr Apparantly NVIDIA adjusted somethings on their side. Reinstalled GFE 2.2.2 and it now works. Menno i7-11700, 16GB, 1 TB SSD, 2 TB HDD, RTX 3070, Windows 11, MSFS 2020 DeLuxe, P3D 4.5

February 11, 201511 yr Working with nVidia does seem rather futile. Presumably it's about the money. So, nVidia, how much will it take? Greg Montey "Because with great power, comes great responsitriligence..."
February 11, 201511 yr Updated to latest drivers, and upon approach at default TISX in my Q400, PAPI lights working fine, then suddenly they disappeared a quarter mile out.
