May 9, 201511 yr That would be cool. Don't know where to start with that though. I'll go take a look. If you set your flight plan Labasa to namalta you should see them not long after take off ZORAN
May 9, 201511 yr Finally, the end of the thread. At least as of now. Like others have stated, a big "Thank You" to the OP and developers of this product. Now ... I am using uTorrent to seed and notice only Antarctica has a lower number of seeders then North America. Com'on North Americans, surely we can beat Oceania, Europe and Africa. May 9, 201511 yr Author Ah, yes I see Fiji has some some data noise that NASA hadn't fixed in the SRTM data. I'll see what we can do! Daniel Moser
May 9, 201511 yr Your a legend ! On another note I had to move the mesh to another drive with more space but I had to move it from U torrent as well. If anybody out there is a U torrent specialist, can you advise me how I can re add those downloaded files for seeding? ZORAN

If anybody out there is a U torrent specialist, can you advise me how I can re add those downloaded files for seeding? If you move your installation, open the torrent, and then you should have option of selecting where to download the files. Just point it to your new location. And then it should check to see what files exist. Daniel Moser
May 9, 201511 yr Moderator I'm wondering if a dedicated forum might not be wise. Might make reporting anomalies easier, etc. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
May 9, 201511 yr Author I'm wondering if a dedicated forum might not be wise. Might make reporting anomalies easier, etc. Vic Well, it's much easier for me to keep track of everything in one thread honestly. And I can make any announcements at the top of the page. Maybe a support forum in the future. Nine-Two Productions (well David actually) is putting finishing touches on our website, and we may have a support board hosted there. It depends if David can add those sort of things. Daniel Moser
May 9, 201511 yr One question...regarding the patches..can we merge both patches into one folder so there is only one patches entry in the scenery library? Right now i have two patches entries in my scenery library, one for 1.01 and 1.02. The sim seems to be ok with this, but for cleanliness sake, is merging the two patches the way to go? Yes, you can merge them. That was intended. However, if you aren't seeding your FreeMeshX installation, you can just add replace the original files. The two patches are currently just for Europe. May 9, 201511 yr Daniel, I just wanted to add my thanks for this phenomenal product! Your support has been better than what is provided by a majority of payware authors, and the quality of your mesh is simply outstanding. May 9, 201511 yr I will gladly add my applause for such a gift, what an extremely kind and honorable act in this day and age! May 10, 201511 yr Author GRATE STUFF!!!! found some linear ridges hope it helps TH mike Man, you guys are great! There are a few tiles in Asia and Europe that are LOD9, and when I made a mosaic with surrounding LOD10 tiles, they sometimes make that stair stepping effect. For some reason, NASA missed a few tiles when they did the 30-m reprocessing, and left them at 90-m, and the mosaic process just doesn't like that. It's really easy and quick to fix though! I think we have gotten most of them now, and they are mainly in western Asia. Will require a patch of a few more Asia tiles unfortunately. 1.03 patch will probably be a bigger patch. I wish I caught these stair artifacts before I had released 1.0 ha! Adding this area for the 1.03 patch todo list, which involves fixing some artifacts and data holes in Oceania, and these stairs in western Asia. Daniel Moser
May 10, 201511 yr Maybe Bjoem only has a SSD? Not exactly, but anything that is used by FSX at runtime has to be on the FSX partition of my SSD. Even if it wouldn't make much of a difference performance wise, as claimed, I just can't bring myself to put important stuff like mesh on a slower HDD. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
May 11, 201511 yr Hello Daniel, first of all big "thank you" for creating this magnificent project. This is great addition to my FSX experience. That said, I'm not sure whether this location has already been reported. I notice some "spikes" on the New Zealand South Island in the Fjordland national park region (coordinates in the screenshot are S45 13.34 E167 8.74 heading 189°; this is not the spike location but a good view point on it). My previously installed FsGenesis Global Mesh has been disabled for this area, ORBX scenery/mesh is off and upon disabling FreeMeshX Australia / Oceania the spikes disappear (and reappear on re-enabling). So I am pretty sure that the mesh spikes come from the FreeMeshX. I would appreciate if you can have a look at that location! Thanks and best regards, Markus 10nm S of EDDS Best regards, Markus Vitzethum ("ps1flyer")
