Hi all,

Just wanted to say great job on finding that smaller memory footprint thingy while developing the 747 and including it as an update on the 777. I installed it a few days ago but didn't have time to try it until today flying Sydney YSSY to Perth YPPH and I have to say the 777 flew lovely and seemed so much smoother...................I don't tend to look at figures and stuff, just does it work well or not, and is the view nice and smooth while I am flying...............I have to say with the new update YES it's very smooth and a pleasure to fly.

Thank you PMDG.

Happy Flying,

Dave Phillips.

They will announce when it is in beta, the fact that there is no news should tell you (us) that they are still hard at work. Don't worry, the PMDG 747 v2 will be released, but patience is needed.

PMDG Team - just gotta say thanks again for this most recent update. The 777 is really smooth to fly and easy on the VAS juice! Flying EGCC to OMDB now with Emirates...

Missing font files? Run the base package installer and select REPAIR, maybe that'll help.

What is your OS?

Three questions about the Jan-2016 performance update (MS-FSX):

1. Will the update take if I just run the new -200 Base Installer installer over my existing T7 installation and select the "Repair" option? I guess what I'm asking is whether a complete uninstall-reinstall is absolutely necessary.

2. If we have the -300 expansion pack, do we also need to run the current -300 installer for that?

3. How do we verify that the update was successful?

Sorry if these have been asked before, and thanks.

No - uninstall old; reinstall with new.

Yes, in the same manner as above.

The OC won't prompt you to update when you run it.

Been away for a while, but out of interest when was the last new FULL release of a PMDG aircraft?

Liam Reynolds

September 2013 when the 777-200LR was released, then the -300ER in July 2014.
