Heathrow is going to be humming for weeks. I hope Vatsim controllers are ready:)

Just gonna slip my usual request in here:

Please please please make sure to run through the tutorials before jumping online. A bunch of people flying planes they aren't either knowledgeable or familiar with is never fun for the controllers. Run the tutorials and the Intro Manual, even if it's just a refresher.

Anyone remembers a person by the name  Mike Holger Seilz  I believe from Germany who did an amazing PMDG  747 tutorial from Frankfurt to San Fran (EDDF-KSFO). it was in a word document....

Does anyone know where I can find it.. few years ago I printed the whole thing out but now I can't seem to find it.

Edited to add: Its available on Scribd..but thats a pay thingi.

But of course. That is surely logical. It is equally no fun flying online if you don't know what you are doing with your aircraft, so that requirement in my view, is a given. But as usual, many won't, so the general chaos will follow and it'll all end in tears (again). lol

yes! I believe he was (at the time) only 18 years old. I remember reading his bio and thought the kid was amazing. I think I still have it tucked away in my FS9 archive.

It is an excellent piece of work which should be made available to all. I remember working my way through that. It was extremely well done.

Don't forget London Gatwick (EGKK), Virgin Atlantic have a number of 747-400 flights from there. Off the top of my head they go to Orlando, Las Vegas, Cancun, Montego Bay, Havana.

Hi! First of all, amazing job, my wallet is already prepared for what's coming haha. I have a question, I was watching a video of the 747-8 and it seems to have an airport map in the nav display when on the ground. Will you be able to implement this on the 747v3? Maybe use the same method as the Aivlasoft EFB, by reading the AFCAD's. Looking forward to the release of the queen!

I had e-mailed that word document to myself long time ago and I found it too.. I have sent an e-mail to Holger.. The old e-mail addy he had on that document asking him if I could upload it to AVSIM library.

Lets see if he still has his old e-mail.

Kyle,

Do you know what liveries will be included at time of release? I apologize if this sounds like a common question.
