I'd happily pay for an updated C310!    I like to pay for quality, and support development.

PS... sorry for the faux pas about Rob Young doing the C310 FDE - not sure where I got that from !

Hi Folks,

Just a nice video where you can hear the sounds and just so happens to be my favorite factory paint on this aircraft - I'll wait for the new textures but I'll be painting this one - guaranteed - with some N number though... This aircraft still gets great reviews for performance even today - seems better than even my beloved Beech when performance is compared side by side... Just need 150 large or so to pick one up - and yes I've looked...

Yes please - I'll take some new sounds...

How does his framerate not suck with all that autogen? :P  And all the effects.  Geez.

It is pre-rendered ... and you can see some artifacts in the background

To get back on topic:

I don't own these two birds yet, but if there will be an updated version this would surely tempt me, with slightly favouring the C310.

It's all those HD trees that really kills the framerate

I have a particular love for both these aircraft.  While not multi-rated, I have flown many hours in the right seat of the B55, including a two week trip from Colorado to Alaska (all the way to the north slope) and return.  As for the 310, the flight school where I earned my private had a very nice late model 310 that I drooled over every time I climbed into the left seat of one of their well-worn 152s.  Something about the way it sits tall on it's gear and the graceful lines of the tip tanks, and...  Never did get to fly in, but it sure LOOKS the part!

I would spring for both, with great anticipation.

On another note, briefly, I have no clue how to read the OAT gauge in the 310R.  Will someone give me a hint or two?  Thanks.....

I would upgrade both. The 310 is my favorite twin. Very glad to hear it's getting a texture upgrade.

Looking forward to that Beaver too. Thanks for the hard work fellas.

I assume when people are suggesting a sound upgrade they're referring to the B55?   The C310, despite it's age, has the best sounds I've heard in the sim.   Oh man, that buzz when the master switch is turned on! Even better when the avionics are booted up   And every switch has a satisfying nice, heavy metallic sound.   That's not to mention the roar on take off power which sounds exactly like the C310 vids I've watched on YouTube (not been in the real plane).

The MV C310 is unmatched for sounds (for GA at least) in the sim IMHO.

Bill,

Are you using installer 1.160726? Unfortunately, my buzz and avionics boot up sounds are not present with the master switch. For the time being, I'm using an alternate pay-ware sound version but I'd prefer to use the stock Milviz sound. I have a post on the Milviz support forums on this topic. I assume you're familiar with the Milviz forums. If not, I highly recommend it.

Hi Les,

Yes I had that problem too - Milviz messed up the latest installer in terms of references to the sounds I think.  I copied the folder "C310R_sounds" from the main Panel folder, into the other Panel folders (GTN, etc) and the sounds came back.
