Drzewiecki Design Washington X Released

Wow. Those screenshot were something else! Really impressed by them. Might cave in and buy this. Never been a "fan" of scenery but have become more and more interesed after purchasing ESSA. Really nice flying into an airport that seems populated. Very immersive.

I won't buy Washington X unless the two young first ladies are simulated as well.                                  (Just kidding...)

The screenshots look stunning. I'm excited to give the capital a visit.

Always nice to see a developer on a forum and correcting users issues!

Yes, I second that!.

I did a flight with the FSL Airbus from FSDT KIAH to KDCA using the new scenery (the Lite version). It was a night flight and I did the RNAV approach to 19.  Beautiful lighting!! I have mid-high P3D settings (I run sparse autogen buildings though) along with ORBX FTX Global/Vector/OpenLC/AS16/ASCA and had a smooth approach and landing. I also have FB KIAD active but I did not have any VAS issues at all.  I forgot to get a VAS reading after landing though. Really nice scenery, surprisingly smooth and stutter-free for me.

Hi.

Yes, we are aware of the jetways problem however not of its cause yet.

[edit] Apparently one file was missing indeed. Please put THIS FILE  into ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\cfg .

Jetways are now fixed...thank you!!

Hi Folks,

Man - that does look good - my only concern is the FPS - wish they had a full blown demo to test performance...

With the NGX I was getting 30s with occasional 26 (locked at 30) without anything disabled.  Smooth.  They're pretty amazing at optimization.  See my post here.

Hi Gregg,

Good to know - my last DD purchase was that package with Teterboro (granted it is a bit old) and I struggled with the performance - had to remove it...

Appreciate the input...

Scott

As a mainly heavy flier, city scenery means little to me.

However, I am very interested in Andrews AFB...can anyone tell how well done that is?

My understanding is that they're redoing those airports.  Teterboro is a nice executive airport and it would be nice if it was efficiently done.

Have been doing GA in & out of KDCA & touring DC.

Tons of detail.

No lock up issues.

Like it very much. Worth the price.

How is Andrews? The demo has no detail, no buildings. Just runways!

I got the demo from the SimMarket sales page.
Wanted to checkout KADW (Andrews AFB).

KADW is just two runways and taxi lines.

I will wait to see a video or some screenshots.

I noticed the .exe installer creates an "Addon Scenery" folder (e.g., C:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Addon Scenery) and puts the Demo there.

I wonder if the paid version lets the user install outside the main P3D folder e.g., on another drive?

Thinking about purchasing this...

Looks like quite a good performance and memory wise. Maybe I should take-the-jump...

Best regards,

I was thinking about it, was becoming convinced, then I watched the video a few posts up and was sold, now just waiting on an excruciatingly slow simmarket download to finish
