July 28, 20178 yr I wonder how this will work with (or is it a replacement for) Orbx Trees HD. Rick Abshier 5900X | RTX 5070 Ti OC| 64 GB@3600 | India Pale Ale
July 28, 20178 yr Replaces autogen so by default, it would not work with FTX Trees HD. Glenn Ryzen 3700X, X570 Pro Wifi, 32GB 3600mhz RAM, Nvidia Titan Xp "Galactic Empire", RM750x PSU, H700 case, 2x NVMe M2 SSD, 1x SATA SSD
July 28, 20178 yr Any chance you might do this for FSW or X-Plane 11? Looks amazing. It seems each sim has it's own strengths. I just wish there was one that had them all...lol. It'd be certainly easier on my wallet
July 28, 20178 yr I like the look of this. I will follow their progress. I agree with you steve, putting this in FSW with True Sky and the finished lighting it will be magnificent. I'll happily rock it in my P3D V4 till then.
July 28, 20178 yr I'm sure that with higher resolution texture sheets, the "2.5D" trees will look a bit better from close up. But as the whole "3D Speedtrees as autogen" experiment with P3d V4 has shown, present hardware still isn't powerful enough to run true 3D models of clouds and trees and still have all the legitimate features of a flight sim. Apparently, these days when it comes to flight sims, they can be either pretty or smart but not both.
July 28, 20178 yr If I have FTX trees, will this over-ride them when it is installed, or is there a way of turning FTX trees off manually. Robert Yunque PilotEdge Ratings = CAT-11 (2016-09-13) I-11 (2016-10-23) V-3 (2016-08-01)
