Here's my own patch notes:

Disconnect the autopilot, you can do this by pressing the switch which is cryptically marked 'autopilot'.

Hand flying is fun. But each to their own. Some enjoy the systems and automation side of things.  And surely the solution to bugs isn't "just hand fly it"  .....anyhoo, the bug is resolved with the latest update + hotfix.   So everyone can be happy :ha:

I'd wager that most simmers are unaware of Avsim or Aerosoft's forum.

Well, the ones that post problems in our forum are very aware of our forum.

Oh I realise that of course, but the way people were crying about it when they know a patch was coming is hilarious. After a seven year wait, a further one day wait for a quick patch was hardly the end of the world, particularly when we absolutely can fly the thing manually. At least an airliner stops making a whining sound when it gets to the gate, which is more than can be said for some flight simmers lol

Bugs are supposed to get reported. If those users are "crying" and "whining," what, pray tell, is your contribution to this discussion?

Oh I don't know, maybe it was the ten screenshots of it I put in the other discussion thread on the CRJ's release yesterday on this forum comparing its visuals modeling and texturing to those of the Virtualcol CRJ, or perhaps it was the short youtube video I posted yesterday for someone of the landing gear compression animation when they asked for it to confirm there wasn't a problem with it which displayed on the Aerosoft promo video, or the bug report I put in to Aerosoft on an issue yesterday, you tell me.

Stick to that content. The long-winded posts dripping with condescension and sarcasm don't suit you.

Are there any video tutorials yet?

I am much more of a visual learner rather than 900 pages of documentation

Is that what that was?  I just thought it was funny.

Yup, me too, but apparently some people need their sense of humour patching more than they need a patch for the CRJ.

LOL @tooting. Calm down! You compare the end of the western civilisation to a Aerosoft product? Man...

Almost every software product has some glitches at release. The F16 made a turn to its back when flying over the equator in real life...

So what? Next patch will fix most of this. And yes: You ARE ranting. Keep cool ;-)

Edit: this thing costs 50€, I have to work 1 hour for this, a product which was developed 7 years, with many manhours of work... So why would I cry at the non-official forum about 1 or 2 bugs? report the bugs, give them a chance to fix it, that's it.

Edit2: The western world has a problem not because of capitalism but because people are 90% greedy, id*otic self-centered a**holes.

Ouch, tough words with meaning.

Well, the reality is there is NOT one product out there that upon release was flawless; they've all had subsequent patches and updates.

Aerosoft, provides us with a great product for an affordable- or reasonable- price. In fact, they even add extra nice stuff at no additional cost.  For these products, another developer could easily charge in the upper $80.00. So, I am very happy and grateful for this CRJ, and of course the Airbus series... This, not forgetting the countless other products they develop. I personally hope they never cease, as very likely we will not enjoy what we love so much!.

Your lucky you could of paid three times as much for an airbus and still be waiting for an update over a year later

Spent about an hour doing the tutorial flight, I think i got like 90% of it correct, but when I took off I could not engage the Autopilot for the life of me...

Is there a way to turn off the realistic AP engagement like in PMDG?

It needs to be in a stable trimmed condition first.
