If you power the aircraft up in the default cold and dark state, three systems have to be activated before takeoff that would affect the autopilot- the yaw dampers, the horizontal stab trim system and Mach trim. The switches for all of these are on the center console. There are two yaw damper switches. You press one, then the other. There are also two STAB switches ( lower left side) that are also pressed in order. Finally the Mach trim switch, which is next to the STAB switches. This is the only one which is lit up when "off". I think these are already all enabled if you start in the "engines running" state. Also, before takeoff it is essential to put the flight director in TOGA mode. You can do this by using a keyboard assignment (I think it's CTL-SHFT-G), a joystick button, or press the TOGA button on the side of the virtual throttle knob. If you have done this correctly, the flight director mode in the PFD will say TO TO. 11 hours ago, Mitch24 said: I honestly don't know what to try anymore. I tried another flight with the CRJ and yet again Failed to get the Autopilot to connect. I was lined up perfectly with the flight director, correct heading, and just wouldn't do anything. Getting really frustrated here. Is there any way to turn off the realistic AP engagement I'm about ready to take my CRJ and recreate 9/11 JR read my mind - I would wager 100% that if the AP is not engaging, it is because of one of these three requirements. The Yaw Damper buttons on the pedestal give no visual cue on the buttons themselves, as to whether the Yaw Damper is active. However, if the Yaw Damper is not engaged after engine start, you'll see two yellow messages on the EICAS notifying of this. Similarly the stab trim system buttons also don't light up when pressed, so make sure they are pressed and the message for those is also extinguished in the EICAS. The Mach Trim is a little easier as the button itself lights up when the system is NOT active, so press it to extinguish this light. (It can sometimes take a couple of cycles of the button to get it to extinguish). They said it was possbily related to Trim inputs from the control column during climb out. I installed it and it works for the most part. Clear Skies, Brandon McKay
August 5, 20178 yr I think the new Module update to the CRJ may have fixed it. I tried a default flight with it and it engaged. I'll try a full flight today and report back
August 5, 20178 yr Can anyone recommend short flights within the US with either the CRJ 700 or 900? Based in Europe I find it quite hard. I was thinking below 1 hour flights, any airline, but the airports need to be payware and have some degree of quality. Brynjar Mauseth

I was thinking below 1 hour flights, any airline, but the airports need to be payware and have some degree of quality. West Coast is full of CRJ flights. LAX, KMRY, KSEA, KBZM, KPSP, KPHX. Midwest (or most continental US) is full of CRJ flights. KDFW, KIAH, KDEN, KSLC, KMSP, KMCI, KSTL, KORD, KMBS, KIDA East Coast is full of CRJ flights. KATL, KIAD, KDCA, KLGA, KJFK, KRDU, KCLT. A bunch more airports have CRJ movements, but not to the extent of the mentioned above. You should look into FR24 for more data. Santiago de Larminat

You would need to hire (very well-paid) several folks at the TSA, baggage handlers and others in-between so they can pass the 5 box cutters through scanners and TSA up to the airplane. In addition, you would need to hire a company who would set-up all the explosives on the 5th building so it falls like the videos now show of what happened on that day. Better Option: I would suggest you go to the AEROSOFT FORUM and post your issue and get help from them.
August 5, 20178 yr Is there cabin announcements with the CRJ? In the CRJ is says there are, but I don't hear any...

Speaking of sounds, I think it's funny that they included sounds of the F/O coughing but couldn't bother including call outs like V1, rotate, etc.

Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?

August 5, 20178 yr Autopilot issue is fixed with latest hot fix. I was able to finally do a full flight with the CRJ. It's fun but certainly not used to having to constantly be watching my speed. Def different.
