January 16, 20188 yr Just in time I noticed that my 10,000 post on AVSIM was coming up and here it is! My 10,000th post! To make this moment memorable I decided to do an add-on giveway! Everyone here on the AVSIM forum has the chance to win (around) 25 euro's to spend on a flightsim add-on. I don't just want to give away money, of course: I want this to be 'on topic' so the money has to be spend on your flightsim (whatever flightsim that might be). I know at least one flightsimstore that sells gift coupons so I think I will somehow transfer the money that way but I'll work out the details with the winner. If you wonder why I am giving away money, well, I decided to do this to make up for all those annoying posts I posted... but also because only posting that this is my 10,000th post might result in a topic without any replies which would be very, very sad... I think the chance to win something will at least result in a some replies. Anyway, to win that (around) 25 euro's for a flightsim add-on you have to answer a simple question which, of course, also is 'on topic'. The reason for asking a question is that I don't want you to think I am simply giving the money to a good mate or so: everyone can win here, even my biggest enemy (if I have one) and you can all check if I am being honest. On my PC I have a folder with all Prepar3D related downloads which I have currently installed. It contains installers, text files, install instructions, manuals, in short: everything related to my current install of Prepar3D. Take note that the folder also includes the downloaded files of Prepar3D itself! Obviously the folder does not contain the installed sim and add-ons. And it also does not contain everything I have ever bought for flightsimming during the past decades: only what I have installed right now. Question: how many files does my folder with all Prepar3D related downloads and additional files contain? Post your best guess as a reply in NUMBERS ONLY so no . or , or spaces, please. This will make it easier for me to find the winner by simply searching the topic. The winner is the one how guesses the exact number (probably won’t happen) or comes closest. You can only post ONE number. If you post more only the first one counts. In a few days (or so) I will anounce the winner after which I will also post a screenshot showing the number. Because posts can be edited on this forum without anyone noticing it, there can be no correspondence about the result once the winner has been announced. So if after posting the winner we suddenly seem to have 20 other winners, well, bad luck. If by any chance two or more people happen to post the exact same correct number I will have another question for them to decide who is the actual winner but it would be handy if you simply don't post a number someone else already posted. Right, that's it. Now I am off to post number 10,001 somewhere.
