I always set these, it helps with the burries, on my sim anyway.

I can not understand the motivation to ruin a good flight simulator with tweaks. As long as you do not exactly know what the (hidden) concequences of the tweak are, keep your fingers away.

Because they are proven to improve performance and visuals. If that’s not for you perhaps keep your fingers away from the keyboard and fly the sim the way you like. Meanwhile we’ll tweak away and enjoy our sims the way we want.

The reason i ask, i see blurry scenery in the distance maybe 30nm away. I use Orbx and FS Global 2020

That is normal.

Ok, is this something that can be fixed?

There is nothing to be fixed.

You can increase the LOD setting if you have the CPU/GPU power to display further out..

I use the beta atmospherics setting, coupled with Clear Skies.  That produces a realistic haze that nicely blurs the distant views, just like in real life..

Hi Vernon,

I don't have that problem, I have level of detail radius slider set to max, texture streaming OFF and use high-res terrain textures ON. (ticked)

And a FFTF of 0.01

Textures are fantastic.

Even on my old PC I have no problems running them settings.

But it has taken 10 days for me to get my setting just right for my taste and PC

I do 90% of my flights with the FSL A320.

At EGLL Stand 512(simwings) I get 57-62 FPS(when testing FPS), never ran out of memory and never in all my years have seen a sim run so smoothly and look so good.

So after countless hours going though all the setting here is what I have ended up with (EA will now wait till v5.1) My PC spec is in sig.

Tweaks use

[JOBSCHEDULER]
AffinityMask=253

[Main]
FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.01

All addons run on a AffinityMask=160 (Both AM are from SteveW)
