They said in the Weather discovery episode that they use MeteoBlue for weather data, even showed a couple screens of what the data looks like IIRC.

They showed the screenshots data in that video, but stopped short of saying it was MeteoBlue.  That was the community here that pieced two and two together.

Cheers

The screenshot by richfx72 has been deleted from the website. I removed it from the main post, but you can still access it here.

Because there's a bug shown in the image...

Yeah, the mesh resolution doesn't look brilliant for wherever that is. Or the mesh is older than the aerial.

I thought it was interesting they included it, good to set expectations that not everywhere will look flawless. That'd be impossible.

Edit: oh and there's a little white circle next to the plane?

There's an empty square farther back in the horizon where the textures didn't seem to load.

The dot is probably part of the UI, it's dead center.

The mesh does look wonky, though I think there are also two square patches of water in the distance. It would be interesting to see what the area looks like in Bing.

This is Kalgoorlie, Australia

And the Fimiston Open Cut gold mine. According to google. They DO look kinda weird even in google images.  Bing images are kinda messed up, split in half. Much like what you see above.

You think NAVBLUE and FlightAware might show up in the IFR Discovery Episode in May and it will be a video right? Once again, nice update from the MSFS/Asobo Team! It appears the Bat Phone is working again @ChaoticBeauty 🙂 Yes I know only you and I get the joke! And I also saw a reference to in when you missed one of the updates, internet hick up I think you said, and someone else beat you to the punch 🙂

Looking forward to the IFR Discovery Video in May!

P.S. Is the tail in the Wing Wednesday a default A320 NEO livery. Looks different to me, but I have no clue? Maybe it's the lighting?

Yes, it's the default.

May all your landings be safe ones!
