May 1, 20206 yr I did a full un-install and install with new installer. I did not move or delete my addons folder, so all of the addons I already had installed before were still there. Started it up and the sim worked just fine. VR working very well, plus with the True atmosphere it looks really amazing. True atmosphere works in VR in stereo and mono, but disabled in single pass mode. No problems at all so far. May 1, 20206 yr I was going to ask if it was necessary to remove v5 fully before installing the new one, but since I didn't have much installed in the first place (only have some AI installed and about 5 airports) I will just go ahead and delete v5 and then install the updated v5.

May 1, 20206 yr I have the same issiue as lorbi after uninstallting old version completly and reinstalling the new. Splash screen shows up and then nothing. Not even a message in event viewer C. W. ,Ryzen 9 5950X @H2O , 32 GB RAM DDR4 3600 Mhz CL15 , Corsair MP600 Pro Watercooled 2 TB for P3D, Samsung SSD980 1 TB for Addons and Crucial MMX500, Red Devil Ultimate 6900 XT
May 1, 20206 yr I had the same issue with the add-ons causing it to stop working after trying to activate them. Narrowed it down to ones i had created using AO. Update, I found my issue was caused by not have the "description line" completed in the addon.xml. Edited May 1, 20206 yr by anzac1977
