It looks like a mix of XP11 and p3d’s best bits merged together. I wonder if those stutters though, if that’s the video recording or if that’s in sim?
I wonder what the flight model is like. I hope it’s not like an arcade game

Why would it be? You don't need to worry about things like this, that's all I'm saying.

I didn’t say it would be, I said I hope it’s not.
Isn’t it up to me what I worry about?

I worry about the baggage retrieval system they've got at Heathrow.

May all your landings be safe ones!

The excitement and insatiable desire to know more about MSFS on this thread is understandable, but it has (in part) had an effect on all alpha testers.

Leaks have consequences - just sayin'.

Oh?  Are you allowed to say what effect it has had, or would that be covered under the NDA as well?

Of course we want to know more about MSFS. What kind of effect would that have on Alpha testers? No one's forcing them to break their NDA.

Everyone will probably find out Thursday.

I believe the alphas have got an obscured view of the sim world now - making flying difficult - because the sheer amount and size of watermarks and I.D's that MS has released in the latest alpha build to them to try and deter any leaks.

This is regrettable.

Yes. There are a lot more "Your ID"s now on the screen popping up everywhere which is indeed kind of annoying when one pops up right on the PFD the second you're trying to read altitude or something else. It doesn't take away from the sim experience a lot, but still. You'll see those in the next update on the screenshots, which doesn't make the screenshots any nicer to enjoy either. Can't blame MS/Asobo though.

A bunch of watermarks have been added. This is to avoid leaks. Whilst we all enjoy them Microsoft simply wants to stop the leakers and this is the best way of doing so - in fact, a leaker has already told me that it's impossible to leak footage anymore

I hope you told him that it’s because of people like him that have ruined the Alpha experience for possible hundreds or thousands of genuine trustworthy testers?

Edited by Doug47

Those of you reporting the increased amount of watermarks, are you Alpha testers? The build has existed for more than a week now and the latest batch of screenshots did not exhibit stronger watermarks. I guess we'll find out in the next update, unless the new watermarks are so obstructive that it's not worth posting screenshots anymore.

While this is unfortunate, I guess there's not much you can do when there are people deciding to break the NDA and leaking plenty of footage in places where Microsoft cannot issue a copyright claim. All this could only go wrong.
