July 31, 20205 yr thanks for the updates . after watching all the videos released today my wife may have a hard time trying to get me out of the computer after the 18th for days .... Image removed as image is no longer available.
July 31, 20205 yr Extremely happy to hear about the VR info. I found this video comparing the coming Reverb G2 vs the Rift S which I have. Needless to say, I will be upgrading to the new headset mainly for the better visuals. i9-13900K O/C | ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero | 32GB DDR5 6000MHz Kingston FURY | RTX 4090 24GB | 2x SSD M.2 (2TB Samsung 990 PRO) 1x SSD (4TB Samsung 870 EVO) | Windows 11 Home | H20: HydroLux PRO:HardLine Tubing| 1000w PSU | Starlink WiFi
July 31, 20205 yr Pretty awesome stuff. How does one apply for the beta? I can't find anywhere a place to, and it is very hard for me to login to flightsimulator.com. The website has been incredibly slow and will timeout when trying to login. Edit: Invitations are closed now. That sucks. Applied for the alpha when it opened on day 1 but never got an invitation. Looked all over the website on how to apply for the beta(website was super slow), and now no more inivitations. Oh well, what's another 3 weeks? Edited July 31, 20205 yr by flightsimfan912
July 31, 20205 yr Those videos by speedwoblz are great fun to watch, especially the deadstick, no engine drop through the clouds. The sense of space and speed are exhilarating!
July 31, 20205 yr I'm looking for 56.000 floppy disks of 1.44 MB for installation of the Beta (around 80 GB of recommended content).!! 😄 MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Plus | Intel Core i9-10900K @ 5.3GHz | 64GB Corsair Vengeance | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3090 | 500 GB M.2 NVMe for win | 2TB M.2 NVMe for FS2024 | TrackIr v5 | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Eric from EHAM, a flying Dutchman.

July 31, 20205 yr I’m not sure but do you buy the download version of FS on the Microsoft website? I know it’s there but I can’t see if it contains the disks or the download. I’m actually thinking hopefully be great to see Plan-G and LittleNavMap will be updated to be able to load a flight plan into the built in GPS and FMS. That would be great to me. That way a flight plan could be say loaded into the FMS for instance, and then you could add altitudes and speeds to the plan and then have managed mode used to follow the VNAV path in the A320. That sounds perfect to me. It looks like finally the default aircraft will contain the important functions like the FMS, SIDS, STARS, LNAV and VNAV which is a great step up from default FSX airliners. And of course for people who want study level aircraft PMDG etc is development some great aircraft too. For me though, it sounds like the default Jets are complex enough to create a realistic experience without getting too complicated. And for people who love smaller airplanes and VFR it looks great for that right out of the box and down the road some great scenery can be developed for it to make it even better . Pretty exciting for it to be out soon. Edited July 31, 20205 yr by ap1
