Which third party aircraft are you all hoping for?

Some mid complexity turboprop airliners.  ATR, dash 8 (and not just the 400). Some jets too ERJ, a220 etc...  like virtualcol with better modeling and texturing and a bit more complex, but not pmdg level.

I don't think any 3rd party developer is going to want to tackle the B-17 or DC-3 for their lack of glamour, but for historical reasons, and because we owe the men (and women) who flew those airplanes such a tremendous debt of gratitude, I would like to suggest a freeware WWII project not unlike the A-320 FlybyWire group.

I have converted several of the FSX B-17s with the Legacy Importer tool just for the heck of it, and they really do look majestic in the new sim. Maybe one of those companies would care to donate their model to such a project? Or not..

I would only add that many things tend to be put off for a later date, but it has been my experience that life really is short...

Royal Turbine Ercoupe.

At this point, any aircraft that is really well done as far as complex systems go and functions correctly with minimal bugs.

Specifically, I would love to see

Pilatus PC12, TFDI MD11, A330, PMDG aircraft, QW787, B763/B753, ATR72,  and any high fidelity helicopter.

CYVR LSZH

I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS  z690 ROG STRIX Gaming  RTX 4080 Super,

I'm hoping that Carenado  will port their Pilatus PC12, their Piper Malibu Meridian and the Phenom 100 and 300 over. All of those would be insta-buys from me.

Would love to have an Embraer Praetor 600.

Unfortunately, there is currently no addon developer on the market willing and ready to provide "study level" business jets.

Hope we're not stuck with an endless stream of steam-gauge rust buckets from the stone age.

Majestic Dash-8 Q400!

or

Aerosoft Twotter!

The scenery in this sim would make either a no-brainer for me!

Then the PMDG NGX!

Tim-

I cannot wait either!  Can't you just imagine that beautiful VC with shuddering levers, huge radials and props ticking over in the Tyrolean sunlight... and then the oscillations of those spindly oleos as they soak up the undulations on the runway... and finally that fat wing clawing for altitude with the radials singing... fabulous!  Patience, I'm told is a virtue, and I shall endeavor to be virtuous 🙂

You forgot to mention seeing ice forming on the leading edges and windscreen if you go through clouds that should produce them.....by far one of my favorite aspects of the new sim.

Never in a previous sim did I ever worry about flying through fair weather clouds or pay attention to dew points or other meteorological data because I knew I would not pick up ice on my plane in sims I used to fly.   Now I go out of my way (both figuratively and literally) to avoid clouds if the conditions are right for icing.   Making me a better virtual pilot. (or a more conscientious one at least) 🙂

This should remind us all that it's not just the scenery, it's the atmospherics too.

Oh yeah.....and never has a moonrise looked this good in any previous sim...

Plus not even counting the ice I see when the conditions are right....seeing true multi-layer overcast is just awe-inspiring to fly thru and eventually get on top of.

Then you see this on top...

Pretty much worth the price of admission. 😉

Never going to happen, at least when we're still alive. Their last release was for the 32 Bit version of P3D. Yeah, you read that right.

Another one I miss from FSX days - Aerosoft's Bronco X OV10. A really fun, fast, maneuverable aircraft to fly and with excellent visibility all around - perfect for this sim. I would buy again.

A good quality Classic Learjet any model from a 23  to a 35... Steam gauges and with a GPS retrofit for a good combo of old and new.

There’s still plenty of them still flying!
