I tried every trick on the book and I am still downloading the original update, looping, looping, looping.

Hey Asobo, the year 2000 called me, they want their downloading system back.

Steam update to 1.10.8.0 (USB controllers related CTD at launch hot fix) seems to work. No longer CTD before main manu at launch, all USB controllers connected (however in my case all the axes assigned no tin the sim but via FSUIPC).

Edited by Steku

Just tested here and nulled out my controller profiles fully and still works.  So I'm happy.

All good here so far. Climbing to FL 360 and just passed KRH where I CTDed before

there is hoping it will crash again, otherwise you'll have a long night ahead of you, if you fly real time, 7 hours I guess?

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

If I load up a flight at anything but a tiny airport, the blue bar at the bottom goes to about 80% and then instant CTD.

This was introduced in the last patch, and was not fixed by the hot fix.

Yep but not sure the neo can even make it to KBOS wrt fuel consumption 🙂So I let it fly and have every once in a while a look whether it CTDed. So far so good

Liveries no go!

Any specifics? I am at FL360 with a Lufthansa Gummersbach livery in the modded neo and so far all good

It hasn't fixed the issue regarding the cockpit and external views that the last patch caused.  The sim no longer recognises the key combinations required to change the cockpit and external views.  i.e. SHIFT-LEFT which is a bit of a nightmare so no looking around from in or out of the cockpit.

I'm using the Custom Cockpit Cameras a la EZDOK and it all appears to be working as expected.... LOVE THIS WATER!

Why not use keyboard END to change from internal to external and then hold right button on mouse to move around wherever you want?

Steam update was 290MB. Nothing when loading sim.

Personally, I think we will collectively reminisce about these growing pains when we are happily flying our favorite aircraft in this new sim- a bit later.

It will be less momentous in nostalgia.

PS- thanks @Asobo, it would have been a long 2 weeks 🙂

It's going to be a long two weeks to get that night lighting fixed...

Because I don't want to take my hand off the joystick while I'm flying.  I have the keystrokes mapped to the pov switch on my joystick.  I seem to have got around the problem now by using a rather convoluted combination of keystrokes to map to the joystick.  Bottom line though is that the arrow keys no longer appear to be recognised by the sim which is unfortunate as they're the default for move views around.
