Update: Loaded with GoFlight throttle. So they fix whatever they broke.

Just flew over Paris (man the threads on avsim moves fast on the MSFS subsection..) and there was some really bumpy air over Paris. Quite unsettling. I am, however blown away by the general feeling of this sim. I've been flying the QW787 in v5 for some time and yes, the fidelity of the airplanes in that sim is wonderful, however the atmosphere in MSFS is simply unbeatable. No amount of 3rd party payware in that sim even comes close to this one. That is simply undeniable fact. 

MSFS is just a couple of months old. To me, it is already maturing nicely. I am not about to ditch the others but man, are MSFS in position to deliver a haymaker knock-out or what...

Hey Asobo, the year 2000 called me, they want their downloading system back.

Dozens of people with that issue. All cured by limiting wifi internet connection bandwidth.

I did it this way (no more looping trying to download the same file):

browse to 192.168.0.1 (put this in the URL of any webrowser, on a few routers it could be 192.168.0.0 instead)

for both  login and password: admin

Set your wifi limit to about 10 Mhz per second , i.e. 10240 Kbps

There should  be no more loops in the update downloads (try a lower limit if there is).

You have to check the box Enable Bandwidth Control

After you get the update, uncheck the box so that you have full wifi speed again on the internet.

No load screen, it just appeared in the Steam download list, and I started the download manually, as it was scheduled to start in an hour more.

Loading times decreased nicely. Much faster to the main menu and a lot snappier when moving from menu to menu.

Yes.....just the short update from the store...then no long agonizing wait to watch gigs of data cross over into the sim...she's ready to rock!
