Using P3D Until FS2020 Matures

Featured Replies

I have MSFS Steam Edition and until FS2020 has third party A/C I thought about purchasing Prepare 3D version  5.  I think we are six months to a year away from a more mature FS 2020 as far as third party development.  To me the A/C is everything for realism.  Although I enjoy the scenery enhancements in FS2020.

Most of my Aircraft that I really like has an install for P3D.

Thoughts?

 Thanks!

I could never go back to GA flying in FSX/P3D but I recognise there is a good use of FSX/P3D for airliner flying right now*

* The FBW A320 would give FSX/P3D a run for the money though. The systems are not quite FlightSimLabs or Aerosoft yet but it's ok and the immersion factor makes up for it, for me.

Another one of these? Seriously?

Good for you! But the question is, why the need for the announcement? In need for some support from P3D fans? 😄

P/S: Currently I am flying on X-Plane with Zibo from EDDK to EVRA and yesterday I have flown on MSFS with FBW320 from EDDB to LIME and yet I didn't make any announcement 😂

Waste of money.

Whatever makes you happy. If P3D is it for the next six months, go for it!

for me its a no brainer. If the aircrafts has an installer for P3DV5 i would buy in a heartbeat.

V5 is way better than v4.

I wiill be flying P3DV5 for years

Sounds good to me, enjoy yourself. Now time to post over on P3D that I am announcing my hiatus from their sim for the next 6 months until *insert feature* gets up to date.

I'm never going back to P3D again, no matter how much I miss NGX and no matter how buggy still 2020 is, no way.

Depends a lot on your video card..  FSX hardly uses it and P3D V5 puts a lot of load on the GPU.
