Log book still broken.

Did it say it was repaired in the notes? Perhaps I missed it.

Yes have same issue. Work around has been to ZIP files up - move them to another folder - then move them back after update. Royal PITA frankly but it works...

Why not using the Addon Linker?. It's far easier.

Cheers, Ed

Updated with no issues, good to see others contrails now....

AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung  NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive

My update worked  flawlessly and fast ( have only max 50 mbit ) never had a fast update like this..

All went fine and i saw around other 30 Updates in the concent manager -  some minutes later and all was done 🤗

I am in a flight right now with a tripple seven, looks all good so far, performance looks also relative good so if this stays this would be the best update ever so far.

For performance i will look especially on the landing on a bigger Airport so i have to wait for some 2 hours more to see..

To say i had a 30gig community folder and left all in - game loaded with no problems - just to report that.

cheers 😉

Can anyone verify the new default profiles for the CH Products?

I spent a good amount of time and energy mapping and adjusting my CH Flight Yoke, and I don't want to have to do it all again.

Asus Z590 P, Intel i7 10700k, 64gb RAM(3200), nVidia RTX 4070 FE,  Windows 10 (21H1), 2tb M.2 nvme ssd,

Samsung QN43QN90BA 43" 4K@120hz, Bose Companion 5 speakers, Velocity One Flight Yoke/Quad.

I saw a live traffic flight taxing at KDFW at the same time it was taxing in real life (at least according to flight aware), but I also just saw a flight land at CYUL, that actually landed an hour ago in real life.

Live traffic is still widely inconsistent, but I am noticing a lot more of it.

Can anyone confirm whether the throttle reduction bug when pausing with the ESC button, has been fixed?

Thanks for the tip, I'll give that a try.  I'm glad it isn't just me either.  It used to work just fine.  I'd open up two file explorer windows and just move stuff back and forth easily.

It is listed as fixed in the notes, but I cant test it myself as I never had it to start with.

EDIT.  Aristoteles beat me to it!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

If this thread is not full of rants in about...1h, this patch must be the most succesful in FS2020 history XD

Great.  I must have missed it in the patch notes somehow.

Here the first ... I observe some strange stutters when flying from LOWL to South towards the Alpes, only default scenery active. Some may call it a rant, I call it an observation.

In the MSFS forums, the official post for this patch still recommends that you empty your Community folder.

They will always recommend emptying your community folder.  I don't blame them, as it prevents users blaming the sim/update on what are often in fact issues with 3rd party mods.  But they have also said updates do not touch the community folder, so emptying/renaming/moving it has no real impact on the updates.  I can say from my own personal experience, I have never had an issue with updating and I have never emptied or moved my community folder prior to doing updates.  If after an update, I start seeing CTDs or inconsistent behavior from the sim, I start disabling suspect mods until I narrow down which one(s) are causing issues.  This process is very easy, since I use an add-on linker program.
