I think we all acknowledge that you are a leading expert on all things aviation and that you can learn nothing further, except ....

1. I do not believe for one second that you can know whether. or not, that I have a need to grow a pair,

2. I do not believe for one second that you could know what I want or do not want for my simming experience .... the FPS indicator alone, is something I could use (with your permission of course)

3. I do not believe for one second that you have any real idea of how hurtful your comments can be, and

4. YOU are a "stranger on the internet" too and perhaps you should take some notice of that.

5. Finally, some of your comments are both totally unnecessary and inflammatory in my opinion.

Why, thank you Sir. (tongue in cheek)

PS I do actually love the Concorde pic despite its perceived connotations.

Well then, I could counter by saying I don't know why people have an issue with people having an issue with it.

I don't have an issue with people having an issue with it. I just didn't understand why people did.

It is totally useless and unnecessary.

It's telling you when the sim is loading new assets.

I'll answer myself, Yes it works in VR, nice.

Really?! This convinced me, I'll try it tomorrow. Thanks for the report.

Had a chance to try the Shift+Z tonight.  Love it, so glad to have it back.  Any chance of adding Q to mute the audio?

Oh Wow, I'm like totally overwhelmed. Like - I can now see my Airspeed, BRG and prevailing wind and ,err, height.

Like I just did not know those things at all from my instruments and my flight planning - I was, like, totally in the dark about where, why and how the hell I was flying about in the sky so big and weird. . .

Like this is, like amazing.

(PLAN YOUR FLIGHT - AND FLY YOUR PLAN)

If you need this situational awareness to such an infant degree - what did you leave the ground when you planned your flight? And should you be airborne in the first place. . .

Come on! You need this like a ticker tape scrolling across the top of your eye-point? - or are you a bloody pilot with a flight plan? - or are you a Gamer?

Come back to me when you've grown a pair and you can read the aircraft from it's instruments without the need for external data.

You should be self-contained. Think about that.

Are you a word not allowed in real life, or just here on the internet?

Slightly off-topic, but Ctrl + Number Delete key does not release parking brakes for me in MSFS 2020 - any alternatives besides a mouse click on the actual brake release?

I think it is Ctrl + Del or the Numpad delete. I should be in the keyboard area what it is set too by default. If it hasn't been changed, used it last week and I had to look up the key combination in the Options area. Forget what it was, and away from gaming PC for a week!

I never understand why people can take so much offense and get so angry over people wanting to make optional changes to their own flight sim that are not forced on others.

It must be eating too much cheese that causes this!  😆

I don't think there's any negatives about pointing out how we go about this stuff Real World.

OMIGOD, thank you so much for pointing this out to me. So what you're saying is that if I hit the Shift Z key in a real plane, these magical red numbers won't pop up in the real sky? I can't check my fps in the real thing?

I didn't know that!

Whaaaat?  Can you please post a spoiler alert next time Ricardo?  I never knew this.
This news has spoilt it for me, and I will never set foot in a real airplane again until they adopt this system in real life.

You know, I thought my last real flight to the Canary Islands was a bit stuttery.
Now I know this, it is obvious the Captain wasn't able to press shift-Z to check his frame rate and control his LOD radius effectively - appalling!  😕

Make sure your NumLock is on.

Thanks Andy J - I'll try it - it would be an ah-ha moment after much frustration...
