Correct - the folk who were the original coders-modellers were from RU (one was a driver with Aeroflot) worked in the aerospace industry full time! CS for some reason was based in the Ukraine - given the events of the past decade we can all figure out the rest! My view is that CS is now just a shell company! The original creators are long gone! CS originally was very good with the 767, 707, 727, B52 C130 etc in the FSX era but it all looks like rubbish now! Their customer service is of course legendary! I jumped to Aerosoft and Fslabs for my wide/narrow body enjoyment. Considering FBW have the neo, Aerosoft have the 330 and Fenix bringing the 320ceo in the new sim, BB won't even have a market and have to live off their Birdog and Islander.
July 24, 20214 yr Commercial Member Everyone in that team needs to go except for the 3D modeller. They have no clue on how to run a decent business.
July 24, 20214 yr I can't be disappointed because I never bought their stuff. But, I will try. Cheers, Mark

July 25, 20214 yr Wow....just wow. Somehow "I told you so" just doesn't do this justice. CS has been stringing 767 customers along for months when asked when the much anticipated freighter was coming with posts like Well in progress. Hoping for 2021 release. Are we still looking at 2021? Yes Are the GE engines still coming with it as a free update like you guys said months ago? Most likely, the 767 Freignter Expansion will deliver the CF6-80 engine option to all 767-300ER variants as well. That's a good sign because the 767 GE may feature TSS soundpack. As for the release date, still at high hopes for 2021. Really want to have the 300F soon We hear you I've said it and I will continue to spout it from the hilltops...CS is a joke, a ripoff artist, and purposely deceives and lies to keep potential customers buying base packs with anticipation of the plane they really wanted all along, which was the 767 freighter. I started many posts about his antics here, and while most agreed, some confused simmers still wanted to defend this guy, saying that I just have a vendetta against CS....well...I have a huge hatred for any flightsim dev who preys on customers for money when they well knew they had no intention of building something they highly advertised...especially when the MSFS model conversion fiasco stared. That is all the revenue stream he needs, he found a new pack of uninformed simmers in a new market to con and deceive, and he will now convert all his FSX/P3D models to MSFS, link a default flightdeck and systems to it...and charge $20-30. And with the MSFS Marketplace not caring what trash they put on it, he will continue to prey on new, unsuspecting simmers on that platform when they see a pretty model. Just go browse his "support" forums...here is a gem I saw today: When are you going to put real 777 sounds? Nothing is real in the PC gaming world. The sound the 777 CAPTAIN III uses is good enough so there's no plans to change anything. This is this customer's first post in his forum, he joined on 7/19 probably after concern that his shiny new "777" (probably purchased on the Marketplace) sounded just like the default 747....really CS....that is your reply?🙄 That reply pretty much sums up his attitude towards his customers. I truly feel for all my fellow simmers who got sucked in the 767 CS vortex of lies and deceit, who, in good faith, bought it thinking CS would produce the model everyone was waiting for..and in fact you see in his forums where some JUST bought the base pack JUST because the felt the freighter was near release, and are now screaming for refunds and shouts of an intentional deception on CS's part. Anyone who still wants to defend this guy...you go right ahead, you're a lost cause if you still think he's a great guy and up front developer. July 25, 20214 yr It makes me sad, how people here are exaggerating their childish frustrations about a freighter not beeing produced. Does it help to no longer buy Captainsim products, never ever have tried one of their products, uninstalling all of their products or analyzing every word they wrote the last time. Are you guys adult men? Have you ever encountered in your lifes that a friend or wife just didn´t keep their promises? Did you ever get into serious problems like loosing your job, somebody died unexpectedly or have you been in war? These are problems, not the cancellation of the 767F. It is not worth to loose your reputation. It´s their decision, as it is your decision which simulator you use or if you want to flightsim or not. It is a hobby, it´s fun and not frustration, anger and fight. July 25, 20214 yr I didn't get caught up in the MSFS CS777 release debacle within the last two months (since I do not yet own MSFS). This latest move on the random cancellation of the B767 freighter (which was confirmed to be in production last December, and thus tempting others to continuing buying their base 767 in anticipation of this release); however, is the final straw for me. Then after obvious blowback, Captain Sim try to back-peddle by dangling a "CF" (converted freighter) release without a working main cargo door (nor correct sounds for the GE powerplant). CS has been deleting posts and complete threads on their forum (including one thread they started!) trying to defend their actions. Obviously, there are many, many dis-satisfied customers. As I stated over on their forum; I am done trying to defend Captain Sim I am just done with Captain Sim.

Yeah it is very astonishing that I see these kind of replies from CS on their FB, they are treating their customers like some stupid people. CS is a pure disgrace to the whole flightsim community. One thing CS seems to do pretty well, in fact they are mastering it, is making themselves hated by the community. I mean I have never seen such ironic comments like theirs instead of trying to calm things down, they are putting oil to the fire. They should adopt this livery as their company's livery, it reflects the company vision pretty well: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display
