Makes me glad I never bought into this line of products... And now I never will unless they give it to me for free!

I bought the CS 767 a few months ago looking forward to the freighter for my Atlas Air fleet. Oh well, another one for the fool and his money file.

Vic green

I'm glad I didn't purchase the 767. I was only interested in the Freighter version as I'm sure many others were also. Typical CaptainSim.

That bit about no sound pack included - it surely refers to cockpit sounds since it's listed under misc?! Otherwise ... no idea what to say really.

What a slap in the face for people favouring the freighter.

On the 757 Rolls Royce expansion, it was noted to have custom sounds in the MISC section.

So I think it's definitely the case that it's using PW sounds.

Could it be that this response is possibly drooling with understatement, LOL

Great response

My System. Motherboard. ASRock Taichi X570 CPU Ryzen 9 3900x (not yet overclocked). RAM 32gb Corsair Vengeance (2x16) 3200mhz. 1 x Gigabyte Aorus GTX1080ti Extreme and a 1200watt PSU.

1 x 1tb SSD 3 x 240BG SSD and 4 x 2TB HDD

OS Win 10 Pro 64bit. Simulators ... FS2004/P3Dv4.5/Xplane.DCS/Aeroflyfs2...MSFS to come for sure.

Currently flying the cs757 in P3d and wish I had chosen a different flight. Was getting used to it before buying the 767 now that it is at a more respectable price point. But I’m landing this plane and uninstalling it from my machine and won’t be buying/ flying a CS product ever again.

If they take the money they made from the 74-777 hybrid and actually make a decent 767 for the new platform, with proper flight model, vnav/lnav, custom fmc, sounds and just flies right at a good price, that will be the comeback of the decade. Would I bet money on it? No sure, but it would be spectacular to see.

And they didn't bother to fix some issue of the base pack (and some of witch already fixed in 757)

Well, some years ago, after their demonstrated lack of providing customer support for the FSX CS 727, I vowed I would never purchase another CS product. This yet again just proves the point my decision was the right one.

And I have to say that $25 for the just-launched 767 GE add-on and then not to have a custom sound set for it which then relies on the PW sounds in the base pack, is plain silly. Buyer beware!

That's normal for CS. Launch a product and then leave the customer in the lurch with a half-working product. That's the reputation CS have built for themselves.

Could anyone give a summary of what they wrote on the link? (don't have Faecesbook as it is pure societal cancer). Why did they cancel?
