I have tied all 3 "Update is now live" topics into one!  Sorry if it confuses anyone!

Thanks. Might as well do it now rather than later.

Lots of interest on the Xbox side. I'm barely getting 16mbps and it's not my connection.  Have had Xbox since 2001 and never seen it this hammered on a new release

Try to pause and resume. Worked for me. If it slows down, do it again

ok, flying version 1.18.13.0 now.

I am getting only 52 fps @ 4k with all sliders on max,

didn't their promo videos show "recorded in real time 4k @ 60"?

yokes and jokes aside, enjoying the smoothest flights ever, finally they can claim: "AS REAL AS IT GETS"

all I need is some real bad cold weather around here instead of this wonderful summer heat, so I don't have to decide: pool or pc!

Fantastico!

What were you getting previous to the update?

I always have that problem as well, I find that starting the sim tells me that I must update via the shop and it automatically opens the shop at the previously unavailable download page.

Go to downloads and updates in the store left upper corner, under "three dots"

Find MS2020 update and start downloading. Rest will be the same.

46%. Mine has slowed down quite a bit.

Kind regards, Michael (who will wait for a couple of hours and read your reports)

You might as well download it now, not like you can play the sim under the previous version.  JOIN US

MSFS Alpha tester on W10 Pro x64. Hardware: AMD 5900X 12 core CPU. Cooler Master ML360R AIO, Asus X570-E mobo, Asus Strix 3090 24GB gfx card, G.Skill TridentZ 64GB (4x16) DDR4-3600 RAM, Samsung 970 250GB SSD (OS), Samsung 980 Pro 1TB M.2 pcie-4 NVMe SSD (MSFS install). EVGA 850w Gold cert PSU, CUK Continuum full ATX tower.  43" Sceptre 4K display. VR: HP Reverb G2.

Around 220/340 - 46% there is a slowdown likely due to smaller game files. Almost seems like it froze but i'm now at 250/340 50%.

What type of CPU and GPU? And where are you flying and what type of aircraft?

Appreciate the report, but we need context to understand. I can fly across bare prairie in Kansas in a Piper Cub and get great frame rates. 😁

Dear All;

After downloading, also check the content manager and/or the marketplace for additional  in game downloads / updates.

We should have all tried to download at the exact same time, and see if we could get smoke out of the Asobo servers. 😉

Strange, my store tells that my sim version is 1.18.13.0. I never saw the download bar though....

I think they are smoking right now.

20% downloaded in 50 mins so looks like 250 mins for 100% if things continue this way.  4 hour dl then.
