So does FlyingIron Simulations make good planes?  I am not too familiar with them, but I see they released a Spitfire for MSFS already.

i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

That looks incredibly promising.

AMD Ryzen R9 9950X3D | Asus Astral RTX 5080 OC | 32 GB DDR5 6000 CL30 | 3440x1440 G-Sync | Logitech Pro Throttles Rudder Yoke Panels | Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS | TrackIR 5 | Oculus Rift S

The Spit is one of the best planes made so far for MSFS.   It's been constantly improved and regularly updated since release.   Great model inside and out, great sound and flies like a dream.

Also it was only £20 which makes it one the best value for money planes I've purchased.

Devs are active and responsive on the main forum.

I wouldn't hesitate to purchase anything from them.

I have the Flying Irons P38 and Spitfire for X-plane.  On the back of how good the Spit is, I had no hesitation getting the MSFS one too and no regrets.

And Flying Irons P38 on X Plane is even better 😉

Ryzen 7 9800x3D @5.2GHz; ASUS X670-P Motherboard; nVidia 4080 (factory o/c); 32G 5600MHz DDR5 SDRAM; Pimax Crystal Light VR Headset; Quest 3 VR Headset

I also have the FlyingIrons Spitfire and it's great, this looks amazing! 😍

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

I also have the Flyingirons Spit, and can highly recommend it. I have every confidence on the P38 being of similar quality,,, day one purchase.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung  NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive

Interesting. MilViz has a great Lightning for P3D. I wonder.... ?

[email protected] - ROG Strix Z790-E - 2X16Gb G.Skill Trident DDR5 6400 CL32 - MSI RTX 4090 Suprim X - WD SN850X 2 TB M.2 - XPG S70 Blade 2 TB M.2 - MSI A1000G PCIE5 1000 W 80+ Gold PSU - Liam Li 011 Dynamic Razer case - 58" Panasonic TC-58AX800U 4K - Pico 4 VR  HMD - WinWing HOTAS Orion2 MAX - ProFlight Pedals - TrackIR 5 - W11 Pro (Passmark:12574, CPU:63110-Single:4785, GPU:50688)

The only problem is that a P38 need guns that work and proper missions. I have 100 times more hours in IL2 than MSFS and highly recommend it for people that love WW2 fighter air combat.

It looks good and I will buy it to support them (like I did with their Spitfire), but look way more forward to the Twin Otter from Aerosoft for MSFS.

Nice!

Finally have something to shoot down the d@mn JU-52 with!

People have been streaming it on Twitch the last days. It looks and sounds amazing.

// 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //

I have 4 warbirds. the FlyingIron Spit is the best of the bunch.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

It certainly would be fun if there was a live combat option so those who wanted to do some real dogfighting could be filtered out and have at it. Anyone could join, but guns would definitely be an advantage 💪
