I tend to agree.  SU6 was a solid update.

SU7 appears more experimental.  At least they're reading METARs now.  This is a step in the right direction.

Crossed posts, Bert - but - yes - NP - KORD to Meigs as a usual quick test (done using the mouse wheel rotation.. grrr)

Do you have the Shift-Z Stats mod by any chance? It's known to cause some issues with huds/buttons etc. on this latest update.

@Republic  No - it was Meigs being there when i started the sim right after the download. It read it's own data first - which didn't have a Meigs, so it stopped processing the rest of the world data. If I had chosen an existing fieId - all would have gone un-noticed. After emptying the Comm folder - it didn't see any airfied there at all - just a park with a long pond, I then added the mod - z_guillermozulueta-meigs  from Flightsim, to I think - and it was recognised straight away, so all is well!    👍

Some bugs here and there. One thing that I reported on zendesk, and I haven't seen it mentioned yet, is that as soon as I take off in the f/a-18, it throttles down automatically and my bravo throttle no longer works. I end up having to put it down on the ground then mysteriously the bravo ends up back in control. It's pretty erratic though. They marked it as solved this morning with no other updates, so we'll see when they patch it.

I think I remember seeing that also a long time ago and I think it had to do with an incompatible add-on in the Community folder. did you try that with an all empty Community?

If you end up using the solution from that video, there's no need to go the lengthy route that person takes if you are  downloading the tool to the same PC you are repairing. Select the "Upgrade this PC now" option, not "Create... for another PC". It will allow you to repair your Windows installation without deleting any of your programs/apps or files and settings.

Hmm, was doing an evening flight from LOWI to EKCH and noticed I was basically flying in a square box. It seems the clouds in the distant aren't shaded properly, thus remain white(r) than the ones around me. Don't recall ever seeing that before, anyone noticed something similar before the update?

Yep I've read people saying that, so that was my point:  I was fully expecting to encounter that last night, but I never did.  My head tracking worked fine for my entire sim session.  I paused/unpaused tracking, leaned over to pet my dog causing the LEDs to leave the camera frame etc... never once did tracking turn itself off. 

Only difference is, I'm using Opentrack instead of the TrackIR software.  So I was offering the suggestion that switching to Opentrack may be another workaround for now, for folks with this problem.
